No, this isn’t it!
Having previously come from a Keurig and a percolator, I can heartily say this is the one! It provides the strong taste of the Keurig with the practicality (and a better designed version) of the percolator. The material is of high quality, and the way it came packaged really shows this. I also had thought it was very sturdy, and everything screwed/fit perfectly. The coffee is indeed done in minutes, and I had no problems cleaning the moka pot. It was definitely worth the $39 I spent on this product.Update: A little over a month later, the handle snapped off the pitcher as I was turning it. I don’t know what they used to attach the handle to the pitcher (glue?) but suffice to say, it does NOT work. I do not recommend, especially for a $39 product that lasts only a month. Back to finding another one!

Looks good but does not work
I am very disappointed with this coffee maker. It leaks as the coffee is brewing. I tried to tight it to the max it still leaked. When trying to unscrew it, the glass broke. Only after making coffee three times, I had to return it to Amazon. There is a design issue with the gasket and the glass. The glass is not heat resistance enough. If you want to purchase it for decoration, go for it. But not to make coffee.

The gasket is weak
PROBABLY THE FINAL UPDATE: I don't usually come back to reviews but I was bummed out at the problems I had with the gasket. I removed the gasket and reseeded it, twisted the decanter down much harder than it feels it should (especially because the decanter is glass with a stainless steel base, that could separate). I also did not fill the medium-fine coffee grounds to the top. This time it didn't leaks as I described below. Still, the gasket will be difficult to replace, compared to Bialetti, which offers replacement parts much easier. I even took measurements and was unable to find an exact match of other gaskets. It gets two stars for aesthetic design, but ultimately the troubles I've had to make a normal cup of coffee (basically drip-style) just isn't worth the hassle just to have a glass decanter. I'll probably eventually replace it with a larger Bialetti than the one I have, which is too small and what caused me to buy this larger Rumnia in the first place. I should have stuck with Bialetti brand on the principle that if it ain't broke don't fix it.UPDATE: I reduced the amount of coffee I put in the filter basket. Though I wasn't tamping down the coffee before -- you're not supposed to tamp the coffee in a moka-pot -- not filling the basket up completely helped almost eliminate the leaking gasket problem described below. However, it did still leak a little bit and the final product is the same as drip-coffee.OP: I bought it because I liked the style and the glass decanter, and it makes a little more coffee than my smaller Berletti moka pot. But this started leaking coffee from the side above the gasket after just a few uses, like enough coffee drips from the seal that it splashes down on the flame of the gas stovetop and sizzles in the flame. Even if replacing the gasket might fix the problem, there are no Rumia gaskets available on Amazon. Berletti gaskets, on the other hand, are easily available on this site, and the gasket on my (smaller) 3-year-old Berletti still works fine.

Espresso at home without the big machine
This little guy is awesome. It’s so sturdy. I used to have an espresso maker. It took too much room up on the counter so I ditched it and went to a French press that I purchased from a well known Swedish department store. It was a great size, but still required a tea kettle to heat up the water. Besides that, it was flimsy and fell apart.Once that broke, I decided I wanted a an all-in-one unit but didn’t want to give up an entire square foot of counter space. I did my research and found that a stovetop percolator might be what I really want. What’s great about this specific percolator is the quality and simplicity. It’s heavy for its size. (I doubt it’s going to fall apart like the French press.) It has no electronics to break down or try and learn like a complicated machine. Plus, It’s so small you can tuck it into a cupboard when not in use or bring it right to the table and set it in a trivet. (My only suggestion for an improvement would be to have a trivet in a coordinated size.) It’s actually quite sleek and attractive, so I’ve just been leaving in out on my countertop especially since it’s so compact and I use it at least once a day.
