Seems to do the job for a first helmet
Matches picture and fits 11.5 month old head. Seems sturdy and the adjustable strap helps with fit. Daughter didn't seem to mind it so assuming it is light weight and comfortable. She didn't try ripping it off.

With all the grandchildren visiting and our youngest granddaughter not yet in a helmet or having ridden a tricycle, scooter, etc (2.5 years old) we decided to order two sizes to see which fir her best. The "spare" can be for later or if smaller, used by her 4m old sister when she is ready. Isla picked out the Unicorns over the flower design. I wish that age wasn't the reference for which helmet to order--our grandchildren range in head size greatly. Please add how to measure youre child's head and what size is best for said size.

My daughter received a balance bike for her birthday, and she’s already tumbled off of it a few times. So I figured it was time to get her a helmet. I’ll be honest, with as quickly as little ones grow, I was worried about fit and how fast he might grow out of it. This helmet says 1-3 years old. I was skeptical, but I like how it has the dial on the back to loosen and expand as her head continues to grow! It also has a cute unicorn and color. It size is good and adjustable. It’s lightweight and looks durable.
