Standard Catalog of United States Paper Money

I found the book to be too thorough, trying to cover too much ground, not necessarily in scope, but in length. Also the language and format is not easy-to-follow, not intuitive. There is no easy way to pinpoint where you need to look unless you take on the work of going through the index. Other books are color-coded and present the notes by denomination, making it easier to browse. Not here. It seems like a good reference book for someone perhaps doing a thesis on the subject but not for someone looking for a simple guide

This book was exactly what I needed ! I love all the color pictures of all the bills and the wisdoms that you get from reading about old currency . It’s awesome, even has prices and things for appraisal depending on the condition of you’re bills . You can find old bills down to the date and two signatures and see what it is actually worth. Love love love it !

My copy just arrived and was well worth waiting through a back order. Better in every way from an older version I had. Copious color illustrations of bright, luminous quality. The authors provide a background of the various ways in which the United States has financed and issued paper money over its life, especially before the advent of the Federal Reserve in the early 20th century.

Better than expected. Has all the info. that you need. Better than any currency book that I have purchased in the past. Great photographs.

good book. very thorough with many examples. seems to cover almost all if not all US currency with up to date price guides.

An absolutely brilliant book , well produced with top quality colour photos throughout . It contains everything you need to know about United States Paper Money from 1812 to the present day. I found it well laid out and easy to use . An excellent buy really pleased .

This little book has huge amount of info, colour pics’ of notes from 1861 onwards. Shows for example; an individual note with written detail of their slight variations.. A must have!...
