The author, Nic Saluppo did a great job of handling common, everyday issues that come up in a relationship.Face it none of us are perfect, but we all want perfect in the other person. Nic reminds us that we are equally accountable.Also great examples. Now, if I could just get my girlfriend to listen to me!! I learned that I’m just going about it the wrong way.I hope you enjoy the book.

I just got remarried about a year ago and the adjustments have been tough. This book helped me realize that both my wife and I are making communication mistakes. We have never been remarried before. It’s actually pretty tough especially with step kids. This book is very clear, is a very easy read, and nice and concise.Too many self-help books ramble on and on, and this one gets to the point.I think the only improvement that I could offer is that I learn a little better by having brief and concise examples of the concepts. My brain doesn’t do super well with explanations, but when I hear an example, I get it. But that’s not to say I want so many examples that it takes too long to read a book, but a few simple ones would helpThank you so much for taking the time to send this out into the world. I’m sure it’s doing a ton of good life is hard This is a welcome giftI listened to the audiobook on audible first and I liked it so much that I bought the paperback so I could mark it up

I would recommend this book to anyone that is interested in having better communication with all people in their lives.This book was written in a manner that allows for easy reading and has communication tips you can implement immediately.I especially enjoyed the chapter on boundaries. I now know how to set effective boundaries.

I bought this book, not knowing what to expect, but I always go by the reviews, even though people perceive things differently. This book was straight to the point, gives examples for how to best communicate with certain words being omitted from conversations. The font is easy to read and it’s only 109 pages. I read it in four nights. I could’ve read through it probably in two nights, but I like to highlight areas that apply to myself, general relationship, and my boyfriend. So I used three different highlighters. I bought one for myself and one for my boyfriend, hoping that I can help him learn to express his feelings and emotions rather than shut down for weeks at a time. I would recommend this book to anyone. It’s so easy to understand, and so down to earth. I’m actually going to buy another book from the same author. And also the workbook that goes along with this book review. I do love self improvement books because there’s always room for growth, but I must say this is one of the best books I’ve ever read . I don’t usually leave reviews but if your partner is willing to work together to better your relationship or any relationship for that matter, this is your book. Good luck to you.

Extremely helpful. It helped me learn a lot of wrongs I was doing with my attempt to communicate! I read this within 2 days and I’m already feeling ready to put this book to use!

I love the overall quality of writing in this book, its easy to read even though the content is complex and detailed.The writer has put it in very manageable chunks and headers with really useful key points at the end of each section. I wish I had bought this book earlier as it could've saved me a lot of heartache and ups and downs over the years!It's hands down the most useful book I've read and will be helping me grow in a healthy way and I hope improve my communication with my partner.I am going to buy the workbook to help me ground the techniques in my own personal relationship... its a lot to take in for me, but well worth the purchase. I'm so glad I bought this book!!!

I learned about me , others, got tools , learned facts and truths about communication, it changed everything. Small book, very simple to read, very clear and to the point.I didn’t think I needed this book, I bought it for my partner. Turns out I REALLY needed it , and I will read it again and again.Just buy it , don’t hesitate. This book is a gem.
