Great belt for holding your pants up or accessorizing your mall ninja uniform
Need a great brown and black belt for everyday use? Maybe you want a belt that can hold down a load in the back of your truck. Just maybe you have decided to become a mall ninja. Well friends this belt is for you and others more. I have been looking at these belts for a few months now after seeing some on a trip. I finally decided on the double duty because of the two color options and also the size. I like the 1.5 inch because it will hold my pants up when I have my large frame .45 in a holster attached without it pulling my pants down. I can cinch these up and not have to worry about my pants falling at all throughout the day unlike my leather belt. I was reluctant at first and thought that maybe the buckle wouldn't hold it tight but I was wrong. So far I have not noticed it slipping at all. I know that if it came down to to needing to use this belt for other purposes I wouldn't hesitate. It's strong and feels like it will hold large weight. I am a larger guy and got the XXL. It fits well and it is just the right size for someone wearing a men's size 42 pants. If you like your belts to be a little longer then definitely go up to the XXL. I have just about an inch of extra belt leftover once I fasten it. I can honestly say that I plan on ordering more 5.11 accessories after seeing how well this belt is made and how it wears.

5.11 tactical belt
I don't write many reviews so a product really has to stand out for me to bother and this one does. I've owned many gun belts over the years. Most were bonded leather or re-enforced with plastic that didn't last more than six months or so. Though there are similar styles of web belts that use Velcro and fold back on themselves that I have tried, I wanted a more traditional type of belt closure. This belt is stiff enough to support a holster but flexible enough to avoid wearing out quickly. If you aren't strong enough to bend it to thread the belt through the buckle or aren't smart enough to figure out how to adjust the tightness then this probably isn't the belt for you. 5.11 makes tactical gear so if you are looking at this belt for another purpose you will probably be disappointed. This belt is completely reversible. The buckle does not need to be removed to reverse the belt, you just flip it over. In fact the buckle can't be removed from the belt. The buckle is plastic but its thick enough to last for a while. This belt goes with jeans and casual pants or shorts but it isn't a dress belt and it won't look right with dress clothes. The material and sewing are of good quality and should last for a long time. The sizing of the belt is accurate. I wear a size 32 waist in pants and there is 4-5" of the belt left after buckling even with a holster. For the price it would be difficult to find a better tactical belt and with the reversible option you are really getting two belts for the price.

Great belt for the price but a bit small size wise
SIZE is smaller then I would have hoped. This is the hardest part about purchasing clothing items online. THE SIZE. I am 6 feet tall and weigh about 195lbs. I have recently lost weight and am down from 207. I usually wear a waist size 34 (I should weigh about 185) but with the weight gain I wear pant/shorts in a 34 snug or a 35 comfortably. A 36 is loose on me. So with this belt I purchased it with the intent to wear it at my ideal pant size 34". With my 34" pants on a bit snug the belt is not very long. I have about 3 inches to spare after buckling. So the belt in my opinion should be a bit longer. It is really not a big issue, but may help others looking for sizing reviews. In conclusion to SIZING I am okay with the belt size I purchased (Large 36-38) It really feels more like a 34-37 belt. SO be aware if you want extra room for inside the belt holster you will for sure need a larger size! I would consider buying a size larger. The belt is great and can work fine as a tactical belt or a belt to use while carrying concealed. I would prefer a more secure buckle if I was carrying my firearm and extra magazines like found on a gun trainers belt from 511, uncle mike or BlackHawk. HOWEVER this belt for myself was purchased for an everyday belt and for a useful belt when I needed for my range or Front Sight time. I am happy I bought it.

Good, sturdy belt but has some
This is a heavily made belt that’s nicely sewn and is an overall solid product but I do have a couple of gripes with it. First, it’s a two color belt so that means that it’s double thick which makes it makes it heavy and stiff. It’s a belt that’s better with uniforms or as a gun belt than it is for casual wear with a pair or shorts. Second, the buckle slips a little when you put it on and are adjusting it to your waist size. You can overcome that issue by using one hand to rock the buckle into position so that it traps the loose webbing while you cinch it down. I’ve got other web belts which adjust easier and without having to use both hands. It’s not a deal breaker but it’s worth mentioning since there are other belts out there which do adjust without slipping. Still, this is a good product and it should last many years .

Great thicker belt for supporting a number of items
I bought this belt while looking for a stiff, wide belt to use for IWB carry and to support other miscellaneous items while camping. I didn't want to go to a full tactical belt as I didn't want to be separating velcro every time I needed to undo the belt since I was hoping I could find a belt that fit my needs and could also be used as my main everyday belt (easy to be taken off of one pair of shorts/pants and transferred to another). Well this belt is definitely it. I originally tried the 5.11 TDU 1.5-Inch Belt, and found it to be flimsy and very thin - unable to support much weight without sagging. So I returned that belt and purchased this belt and found a world of difference. This belt has two layers and is nice and thick, making it much more suited to support heavier items with no sagging. Due to the dual layers it is reversible, and appropriately stiff, while still being very comfortable. I am going to get a lot of great usage out of this belt. The construction is of very high quality. I am a size 38 waist and got an XL to have some extra room for IWB carry. I love the fact that it has no metal, so it can supposedly be worn through airport security without having to remove it (and that's just one less thing lol). I don't think you'll be disappointed in this belt at all if you're looking for a non-velcro, thick, stiff belt for supporting multiple items as well as your pants.

Good solid belt at this price point honestly
All and all it's a good solid edc/work belt. -Build quality seems pretty good so far -Color is nice -Buckle holds and it doesn't slip back through even though this particular belt doesn't have any hook and loop to secure the flap further -Thick quality material Everyone here is stating the belts run a little small, mine didn't at all so take that for what you will. I have a 30" waist, normally wear a medium in these type belts but I bought a large going off of their reviews and I have a little more slack then I would like but nothing too drastic; I'd say a solid 8 inches of slack on the free end of the belt measuring from the buckle out. Other than that, it's good. I'd buy another one for sure.

Sturdy belt.
1.5" wide, double layer nylon belt sewn with 5 lines along the length of the belt. The end is both sewn and hot-knife cut to avoid fraying. The non-metallic (seems to also be Nylon), friction buckle is a bit difficult to thread and adjust but doesn't slip under vigorous activity. The buckle is non-marring and has no sharp edges so it won't damage items you are carrying. I use this as a workbelt when felling, hauling, and splitting wood and also as a gunbelt when hiking or working outdoors. It is stiff enough to support a full-sized G21sf and a pair of magazines without sagging and without being too wide for most belt loops. This belt is abrasion and stain resistant and stands up to hard use much better than other woven or leather belts. It is a great work belt, and works reasonably well as a rough-use gun or tool belt as it is stiff enough to not sag or roll over when heavy items are attached. Not a fashion accessory, this is not a pretty belt, but it will stand up to hard use and I'm certain that long after many of my other belts are worn out, I'll still be using this one.

Decent, but far from a gun belt
It's nice enough for what it is. Pros: Nice looking Reversible No metal Cons: Difficult to get tight Not a gun belt Nothing to secure floppy end that goes past buckle So, this is a good belt, but realize it is not a gun belt. It has no internal stiffness and is no better for holster support than a normal belt. If you want a gun belt, start with at least Uncle Mike's Tactical Two-Layer Nylon Reinforced Instructor's Belt (Large, Black) or get a Elite CO Shooters Belt with Cobra Buckle (Medium, Black) . You will be much happier. I bought this belt because I travel by air several times a month and the versatility of this belt works for me. I don't like the floppy end of the belt and I am planning on adding a loop to secure it. It is also difficult to get nice and tight due to the belt and buckle construction. The belt isn't stiff enough in the width, but too stiff in the length to bend properly when adjusting tightness.
