Fits c.Crane Skywave radio
Very good hard shell case for the c.crane radio. Fits and holds the radios securely to prevent damage. Has an internal pocked for ear phones and a clip to attach to a backpack, belt etc. If you are going to spend the bucks for a high end c.Crane radio, this is a no brainer to protect that investment.

Great for cameras too!
These cases are excellent! Of course they fit my Skywave radios but I also use them to protect my Ricoh GRD III and my Richoh GR2 cameras. Perfect fits for everything. I do not have the latest camera offerings from Ricoh so I’m unable to comment, first hand, on their fit. The specs indicate the cases should accommodate the new cameras. The cases are very well made.

Fits the Sangean HDR-14
Fits the Sangean HDR-14 like it was made for it! Very well made padded case with a double zipper and internal top pocket. It's a hard case but only so by its nice tight weave fabric so the case is still flexible despite definitely fitting into the hard category. I can definitely recommend it.

Perfect for CC Skywave and Pair of Earbuds
This is a perfect fit for the CC Skywave and a pair of earbuds. Radio is very well protected with the padding inside and the fact that the case is very firm with virtually no give when squeezed. You can throw it loosely in your backpack with no worries of damaging. There are two zippers for easy access when opening or closing in either direction you want. Feels like quality when you zip it open or closed. It comes with a carabineer so you can hang it from the outside our your pack. I definitely think you should get one if you have a CC Skywave radio. Very glad I did as I consider it a must have.

Nice case, but not quite thick enough
Nicely made. Perfect fit for both the Crane Skywave and the Skywave SSB radios. Provides great protection. Has a little storage area for earbuds and extra batteries, etc.The only problem is this: The radio comes with a shortwave antenna in plastic wind-up housing. This does fit in the storage area, but the storage area is a little too thin for the thickness of this plastic object. With the radio in it's compartment, and the antenna in the storage object, it's like having an overpacked suitcase: you CAN zip it closed, but there's pressure squeezing the radio and antenna together. Aside from not wanting to have the radio under pressure, this will often cause the power button to be pressed and the radio to turn on while in the case. If you don't put the antenna in the case, it's perfectly satisfactory. But I'd much rather not have to carry two objects (the radio in the case, and the antenna separately).

A great radio deserves a great case
This case fits the crane Skywave SSB 2 radio like a glove. The padding underneath serves to protect the radio, as does the hard shell case. Dual zippers and an attachment ring seal the deal. Perfect!

This case is very well made.
As you can see from my photos I keep my earbuds, spare batteries, and an external antenna as well as my SkyWave SSB radio in this case. I had noticed that so many complained about not being able to put their CCrane antenna in the case with the radio. So ditch the bulky CCrane antenna and make your own. My diy antenna is more than twice as long, has far better reception and fits perfectly in with all the other mentioned items. I used 18 AWG wire and two alligator clips.

Radio is very well protected
This case is sturdy and will protect your CC Skywave. Don't expect to carry anything much in the net pocket in the lid. Even earbuds will press against the front of the radio when the case is closed. I use the pocket to carry only a printout of the owner's guide from the CC website.
