Have used parts of this book for years. The various stages of the design process are clearly defined better than I have seen elsewhere. I'd recommend it although I've never used the entire book for a course.

Gives historical bases of design. Planning residential and commercial spaces. Interior materials, architectural systems, finishes and components. Exterior and interior environments.

I love the book because the book even though it was used it look new!!!!!!!

I hardly used this book in my class but for the extent of its use it served its purpose. The fescription of the book did not mention there being a name written in marker on the outside pages of the book do I was disappointed to see it on the book when it arrived. Other than that, it was a worthwhile purchase.

The history portion of this book is very interesting. It also helped me to realize that I did not want to be an interior designer.

Helpful fundamental read.
