Easy install, and pitch perfect price works great
OK, so I bought a couple different varieties of these and this particular version by far is one of the most accurate ones at the price point that it’s given. Learning works beautiful. I have it set for every 12 hours so I get two updates a day. Instant check on my vehicle via the app click the button and I’m in. I have an Apple Watch so that works just as easily so I can check it. Find my Apple Watch. Easy install positive negative done. Very slim uses the newest Bluetooth 5.0 I believe is what’s advertised and I can access my car on my second floor of my house while my car is in the garage. Has a graph which works awesome. You can take the graph and export it out if you want to. That’s pretty cool you could check the Volkswagen. The car is cranking using the app. can also verify that it’s charging while cars is running. That’s pretty cool. So if you’re reading this take a chance it’s worth it.

Works well for my Ford Fusion using App on iPhone 14
I like the Bluetooth 5.0 extended range and reduced power consumption. It was easy to connect to the battery, download the app to my iPhone 14 pro, and connect via Bluetooth using the 0000 code. I placed the unit on the top of my battery using the provided 3M sticky. My 2012 Ford Fusion is outside in the driveway and I can connect with it from about 30 ft. away while sitting in the Kitchen. I received an alert this morning indicating that the battery was at 100% charge, which makes sense because I drove it late yesterday. I don't drive the car often and the battery drains slowly due to the factory security system/forgetting to remove the USB charger from the 12V outlet. After the battery went dead several times it was toast even though it was less than a year old. The attached pictures show my app settings, the alert I received reporting normal status, the app's voltage status graph, the app's cranking voltage graph, and the app's Trip log. I am still learning about the app. The true test will come next winter when it gets cold, e.g. will the sensor continue to work when it gets below 0 F?

Short range so far.
When it connects, nice. But on my car ten feet is to far. 4 stars for quality, but not operation. Maybe my cars hood to much metal ? Koni. UPDATE distance up to 20 feet now ? Better next day ? or weather effect.

Running for over One Year - No issues
This was easy to install, less that 5 minutes because half the car needed to be removed to get access to the negative terminal of the battery! Once installed and password setup I had no issues connecting the included app (Downloaded from the Apple App Store). This was purchased because although the battery is less than 2 years old (Replaced under my car warranty) it seems to be on the way out again unfortunately the warranty for the car has now expired so I wanted to see if I could see any phantom drains on the battery to try and explain why I had to replace this second OEM battery in 5 years. I never did see any large drains on the battery but it has helped me manage this sick battery for over a year along with a small 5Amp charger and not have the expense of changing it out again just yet. Included are photos of the installation of the unit and some screen shots off the phone app for the device.

Why I am submitting my review ~ one year after purchase.
Why I am submitting my review ~ one year after purchase. I bought this gadget: car battery remote voltage sensor on 6/20/24. It is now 7/28/25. I decided to go ahead and to submit my review, after about 1 years has passed since my purchase. The reason being: I had troubles using the app: a user error, which I will explain in a bit. But the app has an option to ask the company a question. I went ahead and asked my question. I RECIEVED A REPLY FROM THEM, IN ONE DAY. THEIR REPLY INCITED ME TO THINK, AND I FIGURED OUT WHAT MY PROBLEM WAS. So, I am impressed. I am also glad the app has this option. It turned out to be helpful to me. Before I will talk about my trouble using the app, let me explain how this gadget has been useful to me. I own a Nissan leaf 2012. This car has already bricked two of my 12v batteries. Each time, within 1 or 2 years, which is not appropriate, and is also expansive. Since I installed the monitor, it showed to me what I need to do to keep the 12v battery happy. Basically, one needs to drive it, or at leasy turn it on, no less than once in about 1 to 3 days. But I only drive it once in a blue moon. Still, "normal" gas cars had always been ok, but not leaf: bad design, imo. Finally, let me explain what was my trouble using the app: I had turned off the app's location access, because why does a voltage monitor need a location access. But I forgot that when I tried using the app a few months later. Anyway, after I figured out my problem, and regained the use of my remote voltage monitor, I asked the follow up question of the sales team, using the app access they provide: " why they need location access for the gadget/app to work." And again, they promptly replied, with explanation. Apparently, location access is a requirement by Google for blue tooth low energy (BLE) to work. And yes, this gadget uses BLE. And yes, Google search confirmed this claim. So, in conclusion: a very useful device, and an impressive support team behind it.

Pretty rubbish quality as both positive and negative connector were not terminated correctly. Both ends where crimped with insulation covering the conductors. I had to completely remove and re-do the battery connectors so absolutely not worth the money and not worth buying. Save your money for something better quality and reliable.

Easy install. Works well enough. I need to manually connect to the device most times to get the information. Would be nice if it auto connected when opening the app at least. But would be good if it auto updated the app when connecting to the car. Would still recommend though.
