Best value hot tub I have found
I cannot begin to express how happy I am with this purchase. Here are some highlights:- It is 80% cheaper than competitors and works great- It plugs in directly to an outdoor outlet. Takes 2 days to heat up, and then stays there.- It costs maybe $10 a month in electricity. Unreal.- Amazon paid for it to be delivered not just to the house, not just to the backyard, but all the way into my tough to reach brick patio. Saved me $800!!- I installed it myself no problem. A human being answered the phone when I had questions during install. Seemed like a nice dude.Downsides:- it’s a 4 person tub, not a 5 person. But that’s not a big deal.- I’ve only had it a month, if something goes wrong I will update.

Nice, basic spa.
The spa was delivered 1 week later than the longest time promised. It does have a crack & crease on one side, near the bottom, because it was shipped on its side & they apparently strapped it down so tight that it damaged the paneling around the outside of the spa.My husband & sons are rather handy so we moved it to the backyard by rolling it on pvc pipe, got it all installed in the screened-in back porch, leveled it, built stairs & set it up ourselves. The instructions that come with it are generic for all spas this company sells, both 110 and 220, so there are no specific diagrams and you do have to be good at interpreting those types of instructions. My husband also had to replace the drain valve that came with the spa because there was no hole in the rubber at the bottom of it, so there was no actual way for water to drain from the spa. As I said, he's handy so that was not a big problem for us.We put the initial chemicals in it recommended by the spa expert at our local Pinch A Penny store and started using it this weekend. The controls are easy to use. The spa fits 2 people very well for lounging and spreading out. If you want 4 people in it, they would have to all be sitting up in the side seats. You could possibly fit a child in the 5th end seat. It is about the size of a heart-shaped spa tub, ovaled out instead of pointed at the end and with a shallow foot well added. Not huge, but definitely what we needed for our screened-in back porch. We love it.I gave the spa 4 stars instead of 5 because I feel it should not have come damaged and the pre-shipping inspection should have identified the problem with the drain valve.

Buyer Beware
Buy one. When it works, great. When it breaks, buyer beware. Hudson Bay (LPIinc) could not care less. Worst customer service ever. (Full disclosure, I didn’t buy on Amazon).
