CuprinolGarden Furniture Restorer 1L

I cleaned my patio furniture with teak cleaner first as it has had very little TLC in the last 16 years. I then used the restorer. I am delighted with the results and had enough for an 8 seater table and 6 chairs. I will finish off with Cuprinol Ultimate Furniture Oil to waterproof the furniture for the winter. I am really happy with the results and the price 😊

Instructions were a bit confusing; why wash with hosepipe after applying? Still it worked, easy to apply, washed away excess and after it dried out the result was impressive. A noticeable restoration in color albeit far from uniform. Probably more to do with my uneven sanding. Will apply a second coat after a few weeks and see if it looks even better.Shipping was a catastrophe, lost for two weeks but was refunded then it suddenly arrived and was charged again. Not the shippers fault but the couriers.

I was not sure what I bought and the other reviews where mixed. I did a light sand of an outside table (been outside for years) and it was totally grey and splitting. I applied one coat of the Cuprinol garden furniture restorer and the colour was good immediately. I thought, that ain’t going to last after washing and drying but it stayed looking good. I am going to wash it down again and do one more coat as it is very easy to apply. Am very pleased with the product. A wax is all it need now but I will also do a teak oil layer before to give it good care over winter.

This is the first Cuprinol product that I cannot rave about. This is almost a weak jelly-like solution which is applied and then washed off after 15 minutes allegedly having restored the wood to its original colour - except it doesn’t. Very disappointed.

I've got Iroko gates on my drive which have weathered in a few places so thought this looked like the ideal product to sort them out before I re-oiled them. However, it did absolutely nothing - I presume because there must still be some residual oil in the weathered parts? I don't know and it says nothing about it on the product so now I'm having to try & find out what I need to know from somewhere else. So I can't give it more than 1 star as it didn't work as I needed it to.
