Wild Bird Seed Feeder Outdoor Decorative Garden Metal Hanging Food Dome Mesh House

In my community, many neighbors hanged bird feeders in their front or back yards. I can see many wild birds are attracted to their houses, and it is so natural. I decide to find a decorative and functional bird feeder. After observing all my neighbors' bird feeders, I found red color is the best choice which can attract more wild birds. However, it is very hard to find a red bird feeder especially with a beautiful design. I am so lucky to find this bird feeder with a beautiful design at Amazon. The price is a very good deal price. The bird feeder comes with optional 4 stainless bird stands for you to use or not. The base is pre-drilled with 4 holes to keep seeds fresh. It is easy to open or close the cap and base by twisting toward open area and no need to use screw driver to open or close. Overall quality is very good. I would highly recommend whoever want to add extra natural view to your landscape.

Nice bird feeder. Even though I hung it next to another feeder, it took several days for the birds to use it. Be patient! If you hang it, they will come! : ) I put sunflower seeds in it and the birds do not have any trouble accessing the seeds. The birds mostly feed from the red openings with the perch. They can also get seed from the saucer at the bottom of the feeder but so far I have not seen any birds feed from this area. The empty sunflower seed shells accumulate in the saucer so every so often I just clean it out with my fingers. Whatever "good" seeds fall onto the ground, the ground feeder birds and squirrels get to eat. It would be nice if the roof of the feeder were wider to help keep rain and snow from getting into the saucer at the bottom. Luckily, the squirrels and deer have not attempted to use this feeder as yet so not really sure how it will hold up to any abuse. The feeder comes in a box and is very easy to assemble. NOTE: In my pictures, you will notice that there is no snow on the feeder. That is because I put it in the garage at night to keep the deer from using/damaging the feeder TIP: If you hang the feeder on an iron shepherd's hook, coat it with a bit of petroleum jelly to keep the squirrels away. I have seen them climb their way to my feeders but with a film of petroleum jelly, they will slide right back down.

Great little feeder. Attracts a lot of birds and easy to refill. I added a seed hoop to help with spillage. My only issue with it is that seeds don't come out of the base of the feeder and birds can't reach the seeds at the bottom, so it never fully empties. I placed a plastic container inside to create a faux base higher up.

I have a love hate with this feeder. I got a great deal for two so that was a plus.The Cons: It holds a ton of seed but a bunch is wasted at the bottom because it's unreachable. It will become old and wasted if you are not on top of your feeders. A poor design. Filing the feeder took some time time to figure out. A squirrel was able to open the bottom when I didn't have it tightened properly. My bad!On the plus side, birds of all sizes flock to this feeder but I ended up removing the extra silver pieces because large birds would perch and feast. I found them on the ground a couple of times. Maybe I wasn't using them properly. It is easy to clean. Both of them recently withstood 70 MPH winds in a storm we had last week. I use these two as my 'budget' seed feeders to dissuade the bigger birds from my other specialty feeders designed to attract songbirds.For the price and how I'm using it, it's a good buy. It's a high maintenance feeder but I have not had some of the quality issues others have reported.

A well-designed, easy-to-use feeder! To fill it, set it down and turn the top counter clockwise. Make sure bottom is securely engaged with slots in body of feeder. Pour the food in, secure the top, and rehang! Those who squawk about having to refill feeder from bottom and plug the ports while doing so either can't read or can't comprehend the obvious simple instruction on box. The only need to remove the bottom is to clean the feeder.

Awesome feeder!! This feeder is one of the best bird feeders that I have ever used. Both the bottom and the top twist off, which makes it incredibly easy to fill this feeder. I usually just take down the feeder, untwist the top, refill it, twist the top back on, and rehang it ... all in a matter of just a few minutes. And, the birds seem to absolutely love it ... which is really what it's all about anyway. :-)

I just received this and hung it outside, so I cannot attest to its durability. I can say that it is very well structured, materials seem solid, and it had no physical definciencies. I especially like the multiple feeding posts and the catch bowl at the bottom. If it doesn't fall aprat, it will be an awesome purchase. At this point, I will recommend it. Time is the true test.

This is a very nice looking feeder, well made and ornamental. I did return it because 1. It is not easy to fill. I didn't realize when I ordered it that the feeder was made so it folds down every time you set it on the floor. It was difficult for me to put feed in with one hand and hold it up with the other. And 2. In the 10 or so days I had it filled and out on the post, I never saw a bird on it. Nothing came to it. It may just not be the season for larger birds that like mixed feed but whatever the reason, I didn't want to wait any longer to return it before it got that "used" look. It was well made and sturdy but just didn't fit my situation.
