USB 3.0 to male HDMI, with driver. Works great.
It works perfectly. Sturdy, reliable and is suitable for connecting my laptop to a monitor. You do need to install a driver in order to use it, but clear instructions are available to help you download it via the internet. It uses a USB 3.0 connection to a male HDMI connection. Great product, you will not be disappointed!!!

It works but there are caveats
It worked on my Samsung TV. However you do have to install some software, and you should keep a record of this, as you will need it if you have to reinstall your system. On some corporate presentation rooms it may not work depending on what kind of presentation comms controls they have. However, if connecting to a digital monitor directly it does work for me.

Works perfectly
Took a matter of seconds to 'install' the cable on a laptop, which then connected seamlessly to give a great picture on a TV. Did what it says on the tin.

Good quality but need a stronger laptop to drive the driver
Good Quality but only issue I never knew about is that the laptop might be to weak to pull the signal through when you work on the screen so it continues to go blank every 5 to 10 seconds making it impossible to work on.... I think for a smaller screen like a 23 inch instead of 27 inch it might work better. Think the seller needs to add this to the top of the listing so we can make better informed purchases. Used on a Macbook Pro i7 - 2.7 processor 16gig ram 1gig SSD so not really small but still to small and this is based on a message that popped up that the driver is to small.

Doesn't work
Got this cable and tried to use it to connect two different laptops to my monitor, and it doesn't work at all, just crickets. Not sure what this rubbish is meant to be used for, but connecting laptops to your screen certainly isn't one of them.

Great for ViewSonic Led Projector
Easy to install and it provides a very good performance. Strongly recommended

Easy to set up
I've just spent a week ordering HDMI to USB adapters to try and get two HDMI screens working with a laptop with only one HDMI port and 2 USB ports. All had to go back for various reasons but this one hit the sweet spot. Just plugged it in. Downloaded the driver and up popped the screen. It comes with a well written and comprehensive instruction manual which was a great help. Bear in mind that the screen resolution can not be higher than 800 x 400 (ie not great) if you have a USB2 port. So ensure your have a USB 3 to plug it into. Would recommend.
