Works pretty well
The height of it is low enough to fit under my couch. I previously had a fabric one but it wasn't allowing enough heat to come out, this one allows more air distribution. It is just a plastic device but comes with velcro strips for attachment. I keep the couch a few inches off the wall so the air can escape (hot air rises, so it's fine). You get 2 in the package so the price isn't too bad.

Flimsy, seemingly cheap item
Very thin piece of flimsy plastic. Sides don't account for the open/close function or screws on your existing metal vent cover. Adhesive velcaro doesn't hold after a few days (both sides of the velcro stick to each other, but releases from the existing metal wall vent cover, probably as it - the glue on one side of the velcro - heats up). You could make something better out of your recycling bin, I promise. I was able to remove the cheap, innacurate length and VERY UNSIGHTLY velcro provided with this order, and use command strips, instead, to get the job done, for now. Will be shopping sturdier replacements immediately.

I use these on my floor vents. The "normal" kind were too tall with my blinds. Very happy with this purchase.

Does the job
Thinner then I anticipated, but it does the job. Its more of a thin breakable plastic then the hard plastic I was hoping for.

easy to install
easy to install with sticky velcro tape pieces. diverts air from vents that are covered with furniture. not extendable so best used if the furniture piece is not too deep.

Waste of money
They fit well, but are extremely flimsy. The velcro design is terrible.
