Is this thread good for stretch jeans?

this is a tough thread meant for heavy material. I have used it on stretch jeans. Never had a problem with the threads breaking. You need to pay attention to the size of the jean. there is no guarantee that is will not break when overwhelmed. That is true with all threads. However, I highly suggest this thread with stretch or not stretch jeans for repair.
