FirgelliAutomations 40" Stroke Guide Rail 400lbs Capacity

Completely happy with these guide rails. I used them on the bottom bed frame of a trundle bed. Installed six fixed castors under the lower box 7/16 inches off the floor and then these guides hold the box when not in use but keep it true as it slides in and out. When the lower mattress is in use the six fixed wheels on the bottom provide the actual support.

I just installed them. They arrived without hardware and without instructions. The 400 lb rating is only when the drawer is all the way in (I guess that is standard for these kind of ratings). For the pros and semi-pros these comments likely sound elementary. I am a dyi guy. I have only done drawer sides once before and if I am fortunate I won't have to do it again.That said, they went in reasonably well and they feel just great. Time will tell but this feels like a good solid mechanism that should last a long time.

These "400" lb rated slides are a joke. I dont know how they rate them but it cant be how much weight they will hold. My drawer total weighs max 80# and they wobble and sag.

If you are shopping for full suspension guide rails in the 32-50" range, you are finding prices over $100. These are a fraction of that. They are good quality but the stated capacity is exaggerated. I could see a shorter size of these carrying 400# but the 40" sets I bought have significant flexing at full extension with much less than 400# on them. They are fine at half extension, but I feel like I need to support the load if I pull them all the way out. A 200# rating would seem about right. Considering the price, I am still pleased with them but I must be careful with my more heavily loaded drawer.
