Q: Why does the clock and alarm time reset without directions?

Mine jumps after the 1 hour alarm times out - and can be any time but the right one. If I shut off the alarm with the off button it is the same. Post FM alarm (to be very specific) the time on the clock SELF - AUTO changes to the wrong time. If used as alarm clock - you need to reset to correct time. I am doing this now as the speakers are great and with the Amazon suggested metal antenna the reception is A- too . I am on second radio and will again contact them - where they are friendly and swapped the first one out but the new one is no better

Sorry to say not made in USA. It's made in China.

Q: Would it be able to connect to a tv ? Like a soundbar

On the back of the unit, there is a pair of RCA jacks which are labled "L" and "R". I do not make use of them, but I would expect that they could be used for connecting to another device. The instruction manual does not give more details. Contact 1-888-CROSLEY--they should be able to give specific details.
