Bought November and I did not open until now. Going on a road trip and thought I’d better check. Functions and looks like it will do the job if I ever need to use. Jack works / tools are good / tire aligns as needed.

I have a 2022 e350 that came with run flat tires. The spare will not fit in the space where the spare would normally go.

Yes, we know how that match went. The tire lost, pulled over once the TPMS alerted my wife and I that the pothole I just hit did indeed empty the tire of any air. 2017 E300 do NOT come with spare tires, I had bought this for my wife for our relocation from Seattle area to Surprise Az. Rather than having to call for roadside assistance, opened the trunk and took the package out of it. From that point to putting a now flat tire back into the trunk was about 10 minutes. Started back into traffic and no issues with the all wheel drive system at all and handling was perfect. The wheel that the tire was mounted on looked GREAT too ! Happy I was there, but even happier knowing that my wife could have easily done it as well

The tire is a correct size spare for my 2019, Mercedes E class. However, it will NOT fit in the wheel well. I effectively lose the use of my trunk if I put it there.

Despite what Amazon indicates on its site, delivery was very quick — I ordered the kit on 12/27/21, it was shipped from Utah on 12/28/21, and I received it via FedEx on 12/30/21. Great communication with seller, too. As for the kit, I bought it because I hated the run flat tires (RFTs) that came with my 2018 E400 Coupe — they were noisy, rode hard (felt every bump), and did not provide good road fee or handling — so I replaced them with regular tires. As the car had no spare (manufactures have gone to RFTs to eliminate the spare in order to save money and to help meet EPA gas mileage requirements, not because they're better than regular tires), I decided it was prudent to get one of these kits to keep in the trunk. Happy I did!

Great solution for cars that do not come with a spare tire. Didn't like the harsh ride of run-flat tires nor the idea of long distance travel without a spare tire. Well made alloy wheel with a good tire. Included lug bolts to fit my car. Company technical support is helpful with any questions.
