Some of the pages cannot lay flat since the binding not centered, so the durability is very questionable.12/31 Update: 5 StarsI am searching for a journal book for the new year. Compare to Moleskine, Rhodia and Midori. My fountain pens nibs flow buttery smooth on RETTACY 120 GSM paper without any smearing or ghosting. In considering the price I pay for this set, this is a five star product and a keeper!Furthermore, this set comes with an inner pocket with two stencils. The two ribbon bookmark added to the functionality of this journal book, which you cannot find them on other "name branded" notebooks.the above mentioned really put this up to 5 Stars and I will definitely purchase this again.Last but not least, the seller reached out to me right after reading my review and offer a refund. I requested a replacement set for proper review instead. The customer service deserve mentioning.I would have given this a 5+ stars if possible.Unless you are the loyal fans on the above three mentioned brands, you should really try this for yourself. I am certain that you will not regard it.

I LOVE THESE JOURNALS!!!! The brown one pictures above is even 2 years old and STILL IN INE PIECE (With the usual usage wear and tear) I have loved these for so long and I dont think there's any way I can go back to any other bound journal again!! They have 2 ribbons for page marking, sturdy smooth paper with an off quite finish, hold up PERFECTLY with any writing, highlighting, etc. Materials. They're light and compact and fit anywhere you would need them to. The table of contents is a life saver but also removable if required if you take some time with scissors. The perforated pages in the back a perfect for adding more pages in the table of contents or any other need for loose leaf paper. The ink used for the lines isn't super dark and thick adding to the professional feel of these journals. Not to mention the unique sticky notes included that look like filing folders/binder dividers. Along with the pocket in the back for easy storing of papers, notes, or anything of the sort. Paired with the stretchy pen look for easy tracking of your pen/pencil and the elastic band to help keeping the notebook closed preventing anything from getting between the pages ruining the book! 100000/10, my constant recommendation for any journals needs and a stunning gift!

This journal has been amazing to work with. Considering its price, it performs admirably in minimizing bleed-through. Holds up well under daily use, and the color variety is nice.

Binding is good, pages have a good feel, but are significantly thinner stock than other similarly marketed notebooks. As long as you aren't using pens that put a lot of ink on the page (I use a lot of fountain pens), bleed through is minimal, but not absent. I have used fountain pens on previous Bullet Journals with no problems - this journal has SIGNFICANT bleed through when that much ink is put down.
