Need an accurate and easy way to measure the salinity in my new nano salt tank. This was just what I need and at a fraction of the cost from local pet store.

I bought this one solely because it was cheap. I figured if it didn’t work or was inaccurate I was just out 8 bucks. But I’ve used it a couple of times, and compared it with a friends refractometer and it came up with the same measurements. We’ll see in the long run but for now it works really well! It’s sturdy and comes with everything you need, just follow the instructions and you’ll get really accurate results!

Easy to read and very accurate. Definitely buy again if this one breaks. But it seems to be very durable.

Works great!! Make sure you get 35ppt seawater calibration standard to calibrate this with. If you are testing aquarium water. If you calibrate with distilled water like the directions say it will not give you an accurate reading because seawater is heavier than plain saltwater.

Low quality, it seems to be broken easily.
