I'm putting these are 4 1/2 stars but can only click four or five. The sizing is about what I expected, the material is okay. One of the pair had some stitching problems but was able to fix them. Also the nails looked funny in the picture and they seem odd in person. Not quite the Roman nails I had seen in other places. For my purpose it will work just fine and the price was very good. That said, if you need a realistic reproduction, I'm sure you'll examine the photos carefully and judge for yourself. Oh, and they arrived just fine via Amazon so I didn't have to deal with receiving a package from outside the USA. That was another plus. BT recommended if examination suggests these are sufficient for your purposes

I wasn’t too impressed the size was larger than the shoe size that I had ordered and trying to get them onto one’s feet they just weren’t easy. Although the idea seems nice in practicality I wouldn’t recommend somebody purchasing this item.

These just don’t work as shoes / sandals for a costume and just look bizarre

These are overall some very good caligae for the money. However, the leather on the ones I received was fairly brittle and one of the laces was broken when I received it. The leather on the boots is a good thickness and color, so the boots themselves are fairly sturdy while the laces were thinner and very brittle. If you replace the lacing, these are great caligae for the money.
