BUY THE BBQ
I personally love this little grill ! My wife does all the cooking on this little grill and she can't get enough. PUTTING THIS GRILL TOGETHER WAS WHOLE OTHER STORY! PREPARE YOURSELF FOR A BBQ PUZZLE ! You can put foil under the burner to make it easier to clean up but when a greasy steak was cooked like that, the grease stayed on the top of the foil causing it to catch fire so I think I will disassemble and maybe drill bigger holes and more holes to help grease drain better and find a way to be able to remove the part with the holes to wipe the bottom of grill out to prevent a crazy amount of smoke due to grease burning. I have owned every type of grill so I can say from experience with BBQing that this takes time to learn to cook on but overall a great grill. CLEAN UP AFTER EACH MESSY USE AND THIS WILL SAVE TIME OVER ALL! I TREAT THIS BBQ LIKE AN ELECTRIC SKILLET .( if there isn't much to clean then just wipe with damp napkin and/or a dry napkin , if there is a mess take your time to remove residue so you can get straight to cooking when you want you use your appliance next ) Hope this helped !

Nice little grill for in and out doors
First, this company has outstanding customer service. Put this together on a Saturday after receiving it, and the spot welded copper tang popped off the heating element. Luckily the company had sent a email when this was delivered. I used the link in the email to report the problem and they replied the next day, on a Sunday. After some back and forth to get more details about the problem, I was told they would just send a replacement grill, yes a whole new grill. Tuesday (two days later) it arrived at my front door. Needless to say, that made me extremely happy. I used the heating element out of the new arrival, and worked as expected. Finally got around to grilling with it, and it works pretty good in doors, with some issues. I included two sets of photos, four total. They show the grilling and one shows what is left over for clean up. That first grill (first couple photos), I covered the plate that supports the heating elements with foil, as seen in pictures in other reviews here. It worked fine catching the dripping juices until it started a little fire. No biggie, easy to put out. Just not good for an indoor grill, smoke alarms and all. Meat came out fine tho. Clean up involved scrubbing the actual grill, removing the heating element to access the foil, tossing the dirty foil, and wiping the inside of the grill. Second time (second set of photos) I didn’t bother to install that support plate and just covered the bowl in foil. Heating element was fine just sticking out without that support plate. That worked a lot better, as the extra distance away from the heating element avoided any fire starting. Clean up involved scrubbing the grill, removing the heating element, tossing the foil, and wiping up any leaks. Hardest part is scrubbing that grill clean, but that’s typical of any grill. Foiling just the bowl worked best for me, no fires, easier clean up. Of note, my lid sticks every time it heats up. I had to use two hands to separate/open it. Not a major inconvenience, just make sure you have two free hands the first time, not as sticking after first opening. Overall, if you’re looking for a indoor grill I would recommend you consider this one. Also, if your copper tab pops off, if you can’t spot weld it back on, drill a hole and screw/bolt it on. Of note, I bought this during one of them flash sales, but noticed it was cheaper, just slightly, a week or so later using the coupon. Either way, it’s a great buy.

Good value
I purchased this grill after having another electric grill for about 8 years that finally gave out. Comparing the grills and my own experience: Pros: 1. Small and fits in small spaces 2. Very easy to assemble. Took me about 30-40 minutes but the nice thing about assembly is that they place all the screws, washers, lock nuts, and nuts in place where each is supposed to go. They eliminate any guesswork and also send you extra hardware in case you have an issue. 3. Has an upper warming grill. 4. The grill heats up quickly and does get very hot. 5. Even when opening the lid, the grill does not seem to lose temperature as quickly as my old grill. 6. The element is such that the surface of the grill gets more evenly distributed temperatures. 7. The grill pan attaches to the element which is one of the reasons it maintains heat so well. 8. The grill is also sturdy enough to hold up in some amount of wind but is also light enough to pick up and move around easily. 9. It was a good deal compared to what I paid for my old one and the quality feels similar. All of the handle hardware seems excellent. Cons: 1. It is really short. I missed that when purchasing. It is basically a foot shorter than my old grill. I put on a stand to raise the height. 2. In order to clean it, you will have to disassemble the heating element from the pan it attaches to. On my old grill, there was a space of about 3 inches between the grill and pan and I could slide aluminum foil between the two and cook 6 or 8 times before changing aluminum foil. 3. The cord is pretty short - like maybe 5' - not a huge deal for me. 4. I like the warming rack but when the grill is closed it is fairly close to the grill itself - difficult if you are cooking anything with height to it on the lower grill - guess you could put it on the upper grill since it is so close. Overall I like it and think it is a very good value.

Works great! Easy to assemble & clean.
UPDATE: this grill has worked very well all summer long. I've been cooking with it a lot; chicken, steak, hot dogs, brisket, sausages, etc. I wanted to mention how easy it is to clean! The grate itself is easy to clean, and it's easy to wipe down the nonstick surface of the heat reflector underneath the heating element. After about a dozen uses, I decided to do a deep cleaning. I only had to remove two wingnuts (where the heating element plug is mounted) to do the cleaning, which was very handy. It cleans up fast and easy! FIRST REVIEW: The first unit I received included absolutely no fittings or hardware. I had to return it for a new one. But, at least the return process was fast and easy. I've used this grill a couple of times now, I believe enough to leave an initial review. This was easy and fun to assemble. Some fittings and hardware came pre-installed. I had no issues at all following the directions and assembling it. They provide everything you need for assembly, except a #2 Phillips screwdriver. The grill works very well. I installed a temperature gauge, because I thought it really should have had one come with it. I used https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0853474XL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_R31Y1NYN69MMG6V82KT8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 (see photo) and it was easy to install. The grill heats up to 360°, but no more. Fortunately, that is quite sufficient for pretty much every need I have. I cooked kielbasa sausage and hot dogs on it so far. The heating element does a good job of covering the entire area on the grill surface. I'm looking forward next to roasting a chicken on the top rack! This Grill is also easy to clean. I just take the grill rack into the house and wash in the sink. With the grill rack removed, it's very easy to clean the heat reflector plate below the heating element. I just wipe it away with a damp cloth. Perfect size for us two, and plenty of room for more. My HOA can't say a thing, since there is no open or enclosed flame. Easily stores in any closet or shed. So far, we love it! But, four stars for no temperature gauge and limited maximum temperature.

Much Assembly
It's not very tall and the element below the grill screen is fixed so it cannot be removed for cleaning without taking out the butterfly bolts better permanently holding in the electrical inlet. The grease trap is very tiny and doesn't allow much grease at all without pouring over and making a huge mess by dripping down the column and making a huge mess on the base. Then it takes hot water and liquid done to get that all cleaned up. So if you're planning on grilling more than two or three pieces of meat be ready for a huge mess that's hard to clean up. If you turn the heat up on high after you're finished grilling and leave the lid shut then the grill itself is easy to clean with a grill brush. However underneath that catches the excess from the drip edge of the meat built up. After grilling two or three times you will need to clean that plate that allows grease to drip through the bottom. However it's not removable without taking out the whole element which would take a disassembly And reassembly. I think it was very poor design. The element itself in regard to temperature control is fine. The price is probably twice as much as you should pay for something that complex to put together and design poorly. I paid over $200 for this grill. Had I known it was so short and had I known the assembly was so difficult and had I known the drainage is horrible and the grease trap is tiny and the cleanup is difficult then I would not have purchased it. I would have gone to one of the brick and mortar stores or ordered on Amazon a tabletop smokeless grill like I had previously. I liked it much better and it was very easy to clean and it was smokeless too. I think I only paid $45 or $50 for it both times. So I do not recommend this one you're better off getting a table top one and just plugging it in outside because you have to plug this in anyway. And you'll save a lot of money. it's a total rip off. This unit shouldn't cost more than maybe $75 at the very most.

Cook shorty
This is very short, even being only 5 '2" it was low to cook on. Not recommended for indoors, due to smoke. Cleans fairly easy and temp adjust evenly. Take it slow to cook.
