UPDATE : I was contacted by a representative from Krave who thought I might have gotten an extra salty batch. They sent me a new batch to try, and I can confirm the new batch tasted great! It was just spicy enough to clear my sinuses, which is the kind of heat I like! Not overly salty either! Texture was nice and on the tender side, easy to chew even on thick pieces. I really like that there is no sugar in the jerky. I can definitely see myself ordering more. I also tried the Sonoma Barbeque which was delicious! Additionally, I appreciate the excellent customer service, how the issue was addressed promptly, overall professionalism, and that the company cares about the quality of their product. Older review: I was excited to try this, but was overwhelmed by the salt. I like hatch chilis, and the heat in this is great, but the spicy flavor is secondary to the salt. This was my first time trying jerky from Krave, and I'm not sure if all their jerky is like this, but I compared their sodium levels to the other jerky brand I typically get and they have twice as much sodium as the other brand. I like the texture of the jerky as it isn't too tough, as well. I would probably have really enjoyed this if the salt wasn't such a dominating flavor.

I've had this product from numerous grocery stores and it is always tender and delicious. Despite being within the use by date, this product arrived hard as a brick. It is completely inedible; it hurt my canines just even attempting to take a bite. This is the second Krave jerky product ordered on Amazon to have this result and returns are not allowed. Very disappointing.

Great taste without the junk ingredients in other beef jerky. Compare ingredients with other big brands and you'll see why.

Slight artificial sweetener aftertaste but very tasty and tender.

I like these much better after I've run them under some water to take off the surface salt. Flavor is still bland compared to the salt taste. Texture is good. Pieces are good size. I would buy brand again but not this flavor - maybe something with more kick!

met every expectation I had with the Beef Jerky.

The flavor wasn’t horrible but it was extremely dry and almost powdery. The consistency actually made me gag. I wouldn’t recommend this product nor would I purchase again.
