I make my own rice crisp cereal and I don’t like how the rice just falls through the holes on the item so this mesh isn’t as suitable for that.

As a disabled person who struggled with pots these were a real find.Fine mesh so good for pastas large and small veg easy to lift, no need to worry about lifting hot pans of boiling water and dropping them anymore

Using in saucepans so my visually impaired wife can boil vegetables without the problems of emptying hot water from tbe saucepan. These allow the vegetable to boil but drains them automatically when lifted. Being stainless steel they don't rust so are ideal for this.Ideally needs a hook to clip onto edge of saucepan to allow draining back into the pan, hence 4 not 5 stars.

Found these to be too flimsy and felt insecure about lifting out of hot oil

Very good and handy to use.
