Q: What are the ingredients?

I’m not sure bottle doesn’t say anything but it’s all natural. Call the company directly at 417-334-3325 just ask but I think it’s a trade secret they may not tell.

What do you mean by this? As in is it safe to spray near plants? Then yes

Q: How does it reduce ammonia?

The microbes inside Chick Fresh eat up the ammonia which causes the odor

Q: People say it smells great, but what does it smell like? flowers? citrus? mints? i'd like to know before buying

It smells like a very light pine scent to me. It disappears quickly, so it doesn't actually scent the coop for long. You need to spray it daily according to the bottle, so I don't spray it heavily. I just give everything a light spray until I see the spray wet the sand. I'm not a huge fan of pine, but it's so light and doesn't last very long. I think it works to get rid of bad odors in a coop or animal litter.
