First, I just want to say that this crockpot does its job well, and that I've had none of the issues I've seen in a few other reviews about the lid not fitting. The lid balances perfectly on the rim, and holds heat & moisture in. The cord isn't super long, but I have average sized countertops and it plugs into the wall, and still has give in the cord when I have the cooker near the edge while filling it. Plus it's very attractive and takes up little room on the counter, which is where I store it. And the purple is great!But I do have to say that it IS small -- and I read the reviews, so thought I was prepared for that. But because the walls slant inward, going from top to bottom, the top has a wider opening than the available area on the bottom. So, for instance, if you have a roast that's fairly the same size all around, it may technically fit in the top, but not be able to be squished into the bottom. I'm using the crockpot right now (boneless country spareribs in BBQ sauce), or I'd take a photo to show this.As another example, I made pork chops in a cherry sauce and used the kind of pork chops that look like small T-bone steaks. There were only two chops & they were normal in size, yet I couldn't just lay them flat but had to sort of squish them in. They cooked just fine, but next time I'll use boneless, just as I doubt I'll ever try a roast, but will instead either make stew or use a top or bottom round steak (cut up in a few pieces) so there will be room for a few vegetables. And when I say few I'm thinking one yellow onion, one sliced sweet potato, one large or two medium carrots and one stalk celery -- and that'll be all that will fit except for a little liquid. It will fit a couple of boneless chicken breasts - maybe three -- even if they're on the large side, but again the bottom one may need to be squished in a little.Anyway, if you want to be able to cook a small chicken, choose a larger pot. A Cornish hen might fit in this one. All that being said, though, I'm still glad I bought this as it's just the right size for the amounts we make, and I find the larger sizes hard to wash because they're so heavy & we don't have a dishwasher.If you're okay with the size, I think you'll like it!

I’ve had this mini crock pot for quite some time but haven’t used it much. I was surprised to see my husband use it recently for a pork roast. It cooked very well and in a reasonable amount of time. It was less cumbersome than digging out my larger crock pot and clean up was a breeze. I plan on using it more often.

Quality product. I use it multiple times a week for soups and entrees. Just load, turn on, and let it do it's job. Nice looking too. Takes up little space.

This is replacing a tiny crock pot and it's just the right size up without taking up more counter space. Top fits well. Lightweight outer with ceramic inner pot. Cooks well and I like the warmer option. Ceramic bowl can be refrigerated but not made for the oven or microwave.

It’s the perfect size for about 2lbs of meat and some veggies and/or sauce thrown in. We have only used it a couple of times, but so far it cooks as should. The meals were done in correct amount of time and not burned or anything. Quality seems going for the price.

This cooks very well! Great for small spaces or if you don’t have a lot of storage.

I use this slow cooker almost weekly when a recipe calls for "2 cups chopped cooked chicken breast" or even "2 cups diced rotisserie chicken". I just put one or two large chicken breasts in the bottom of the cooker with no liquid and set it to low for 3 hours. It's just about perfect every time. Unfortunately I just broke mine (I've now broken 3 slow cookers while trying to hand wash them - no more! Into the dishwasher they go!) so I came here to get another one. 🙃

This was an attempt to upgrade, it didn't completely hit the mark.I do a good amount of slow pot cooking. My main unit is 1.5Q, and while it makes about the perfect amount of food it's hard to proportion more complex meals into 1.5Q. I figured 33% more 2Q would be perfect.First disappointment was that it's about 1.6Q to the lid, and 1.8Q to the top, not 2Q. My old 1.5Q was 1.4Q to the lid and 1.6Q to the top, so a fair number. This was not a fair 2Q. Had it been 2Q I would have been o.k with it. I kept it anyway.On the plus side it does have 3 temperature settings and a on light (even though the picture shows no on light). And although I thought I would not like the oval shape I do as it takes less counter depth if I want to keep it there.On the minus side, besides being misrepresented size wise, it does not heat as evenly as my other two units, the high setting is not quite high enough (took about 3-4 hours to reach boiling vs 1-2 on my others) and the ceramic was thinner than my other units. On the other hand $20 what can you expect.For the price it's pretty good as long as your o.k. with the that it is less than 2 quarts. It's a pretty good size for 1 or 2 people meals if you can deal with the proportion size issue on more complex meals.

La intención de la compra era reemplazar la olla crock pot que usa mi mamá para cocer frijoles. Pero el tamaño de esta olla no es suficiente para los 3 vasos que normalmente pone a cocer. El producto está bien pero no era lo que ella necesitaba.

La verdad es que es pequeñita pero cumple con los objetivos

Just the right size for 1 or 2 servings. Used it to make a casserole dish. It was cooked faster than the time I thought was right. The lid does not seal tight but that’s fixed by using a piece of foil. I like that there are not a lot of leftovers.

I had a slow cooker this size that stopped working , I missed it. Found this one and it is just right, love the oval shape as it fits more cuts of meat. It is great for a meal for 2.
