Been using this for nearly two years, primarily at the gym but also at hostels when I travel. It is absolutely perfect for my needs: subtle appearance, high quality, long battery life, and compact. Registering my fingerprints was a breeze and the only time I have issues reading them are if my fingers are too sweaty or wet from washing, which would be expected. Go for it! Hope the next iteration keeps the simplicity and formfactor but switches to usb-c for charging.

Gets the job done

Bought this lock for my gym locker. As instructed when unboxed, the first thing I did was charge the battery. Then I trained to my thumbprint. So Far - so good. I left it there as I only needed the one fingerprint. I left on the table for a 2 days before taking to the gym. Tested and flashed red a few times before opening. Here the Indictor Table in the instruction sheet is confusing. It says that a flashing Red light is either Low Power or Failure to verify fingerprint. Thinking the later I installed on my locker. I returned to the gym a day later to find that I was unable to open with no flashes. Red, Green or Blue. The battery was dead and having to way to plug in a USB cable to charge I had to have the gym remove the lock. So now I have a lock that was cutoff using bolt-cutters and non-returnable. Save your money. *Update: To their Credit the seller did reach out and offer a replacement. However, it was too late as I had already replaced the lock with a more conventional combination lock.

Works great. I use it for my gate. Gets Kinda glitchy when wet.

Small-ish lock, but perfect for my son’s PE locker. This was a great solution for my kiddo that has some trouble with fine motor skills as well as remembering (a combination for example). Was very easy to program.

I use this at the gym quick and easy to get in and out my locker with the finger recognition, and the battery life is insane I think I’ve had this for a year and charged it twice max

I have a locker at work in the hospital I work in. It’s a small 10x10 locker and I didn’t want to hang a large lock on it or one that took 14-30 turns of a dial. This seemed perfect. I LOVE the size. No it’s not the most durable lock but I’m not storing gold bricks in my locker, just coffee pods and things like that. (Which at a nursing station might be considered as valuable!). It worked great and fast for the first few weeks. It had a persnickety moment or two, but overall was exactly what I was looking for. Then one day it unlocked and would not lock back. It’s charged, reset etc. and nothing worked. It’s not “dead” it’s still charging, holding its charge, setting fingerprints etc. but it will NOT close. I bought two so I can swap them out for charging purposes but now I’m afraid to use it for fear it might lock my stuff IN my locker and not unlock. It’s an amazing idea but poorly executed. So I’m very sad.

Bought this fingerprint lock for the gym about 5 months ago and it’s been a great “quality of life” gadget! I can’t remember if I charged it as instructed when I first received it, but if I did, then that was the only time I’ve charged it so far. I go to the gym typically 5 days a week and use the lock about 4 times each visit, so roughly 400 uses over a 5-month period, probably an overestimation tbh. Today is the first day I got a low battery indication. Not as long as advertised, but again, don’t remember if I charged it up to 100% when I got it, and I still think that’s a great length of time and use to go without having to worry about charging! I only have a couple of nitpicks about it. The first is that the lock opens with the hinge on the left. I know that doesn’t seem like a big deal, and it’s not. But most other locks open with the hinge on the right and as a right-handed person, I’ve had to adjust a bit to using this lock. The second nitpick is that this lock charges with a Micro USB cable. I so wish it used USB-C! I have very few, if any, other gadgets that use Micro USB, so I feel like I have to keep an outdated cable around (and remember where it’s at) for the very few times that I need to charge the lock!

Perfect lock for the gym, no need for key or combination

As the title states, I couldn't register my fingerprint on either of the 2 locks purchased, so they were returned. I have subsequently purchased the slightly more expensive version that are Bluetooth/phone app enabled, and I found setting these app enabled locks vastly easier and less time consuming. Buy the BLACK, app enabled locks.

It's very small. Very costly for such a small device
