BIC Velocity Colored Lead Mechanical Pencil Refills, Medium Point (0.7mm), Assorted Colors, 36-Count Pack

I love buying pens & markers of different colors! So when my "Bic Velocity" mechanical pencils we're running out of lead, I was worried that I would not be able to replace them. Then I happened upon these in Amazon & ordered them & am so glad I did! Granted, mechanical pencils break fairly easily, but I don't use them all the time, just for correspondence & I love the colors!

Yes, the pencils break semi easily, but you shouldn’t be applying too much pressure for it. These ate the refills for the BIC VELOCITY COLORED MECHANICAL PENCILS, so see those. It is a great value for its money.

These seem to work better than another brand I had found first. However, I was disappointed that they came just the lead canisters with no packaging which seemed slightly fishy to me but since it is lead I still use them.

I wish these colored pencils got more love. I saw them once and haven’t seen them since. But I’m glad they finally made refills available. Just fyi, you can use this colored lead for any mechanical pencil. And it’s so fun! I love having different colors to choose from. Great vibrancy and strong lead quality, though the color doesn’t erase perfectly. I rarely need to erase, though, so I don’t mind.

Pencils and refills were purchased for note taking but the “lead” is incredibly brittle. Breaks really quickly or if you apply too much pressure and it doesn’t take a lot of pressure to break it. Would not purchase again.

This Bic colored lead writes easily and erases cleanly too. I used it to refill my Papermate Clear Point colored mechanical pencils. It was the only lead refills that were the exact colors as my pencils.

Daughter ran out of red from the purchased pencils and was working on a piece. I bought cheaper replacement lead and it was the same and colors didn’t match. So we bought the actual same brand refill and they were perfect! Unfortunately this was my second time purchasing as my first purchase was lost on transit.

Buyer beware, these have tripled in cost over the year!!! And they aren't even great leads. They break and crumble very easily. At the much lower price that I paid, they were barely satisfactory, but absolutely at triple the cost I cannot recommend these at all!!!

The package came short of the number of refills as advertised.
