Great scale, great data management, a bit temperamental for turn-on
It’s expensive. But it is incredibly convenient to not have to remember weight over time and to be able to look at graphs. The display is extremely easy to read. It automatically connects to wifi and makes your data available in your account and on the app. Garmin has an excellent privacy policy for your data. Some of the other manufacturers have horrible privacy policies (weight watchers, omron). Withings also has a good privacy policy. If you are using Garmin for fitness and exercise, this is the way to go. If you’re not using Garmin, Withings might be attractively less expensive. The weather function felt gimmicky but is actually kinda nice to have in the morning when you are figuring out what to wear for the temperature. It gives an icon for the overall weather, current temperature and high/low for the day.The scale also records body-fat%, water content, muscle mass and bone mass. These might have some validity but I take them with skepticism. They all bounce a bit up and down but you can visually average the graphs of each over time to see progress. The overall trend seems to be the most useful function for this data. Some have mentioned turn-on problems with the scale. Those are sort-of real. Sometimes it turns on for a second if I drop something on the floor nearby. Sometimes it doesn’t respond to a foot tap. It needs a solid thwap with your foot. At first I thought I had a problem but once I learned its preferred method to be turned on, it’s always been fine. This could definitely stand improvement though. It comes with wide feet to apply for carpeted floors, but as with any scale I have ever known, its repeatability seriously suffers on carpet. Thin industrial carpet might be ok. Thick household carpet really messes it up.

Worth the money! Great information and accurate!
This scale is awesome! It's very accurate and worth the money. The Garmin Connect App lets you customize what you want to see and you can have multiple users, but they each need their own connect account. We had a Fitbit Aria before and this is so much better! My only complaint is that sometimes you have to tap it hard with your foot to get it to "turn on." It could be that I haven't found the sweet spot yet. It doesn't come on by just standing on it. Aside from that I absolutely love this scale! It syncs quickly and hasn't had any issues. I highly recommend this! It does sync with Apple Health.

Overpriced, but the only one that works with Garmin Connect
I like this scale. I have to ding it one star because this is the only scale Garmin connect will work with. I believe most of the stats are bunk, but if you're looking for a simple way to upload your daily weight to Garmin Connect, this is the one you have to get. Step on it and forget it. It even gives you the weather.I don't believe this is great value for the money as you can get connected digital scales for $25. But if need one that works with Garmin Connect, this is it.Although I don't use it for this purpose, I got bizarre body fat readings at first. Then I figured out that I could set a body fat % and it would use that as a base.

Poor Quality Device
I should have read the reviews first. After initial setup it simply kept restarting. I did a factory reset and had the same constant restarting problem. I did a firmware update and then again had the constant restarting problem. I just started my move from Fitbit to Garmin. I love my Garmin Vivoactive 6, it is great! and it is a huge upgrade from the Fitbit Charge 5. But this Garmin smart scale is crap. I already have an older Fitbit scale that just seems like it is much better quality than the Garmin scale. I'm returning the Garmin and will continue to use the Fitbit scale and enter my weight into Garmin Connect manually.

Precision Equipment That You Can Rely On
I have this scale, the blood pressure cup and my smartwatch all connected. Garmin makes very good products. I weigh myself, take my blood pressure, and exercise daily. All this information is recorded on the Connect App. on my phone in the form of an easy to read graph 📈. I'm very happy with my purchase. Thank you Amazon for selling Garmin products. I'm hooked.

Great tool for monitoring weight and health-!
This scale is nicely weighted, no flipping of the edge. Super easy to set-up and sync to my watch and I really like that it even syncs to my Garmin watch. It can track and sync up to 2 watches but can be used by anyone not interested in syncing and allows you to put initials in for each synced user. Not problems, great scale!

Only Weight Data is Reliable - Everything Else is Nonsense.
Works OK and useful that it links to your garmin account and directly uploads your weight to Garmin Connect. However, the rest of the data is a complete waste of time and nonsense. It seems to just add data from tables, so assume you come back from a long ride or exercise and you have lost a kilo or two (in water weight from exercise) it will try and tell you your body fat, body muscle mass, bone weight has changed significantly.... so for example it might tell you you are 22% body fat then after a glass of water that you are 24% body fat. OK for weight but every other peace of data is pointless nonsense and is unreliable.
