Got this scale when my child was first diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. I'm so glad I didn't go for something cheaper. This one has been so efficient. It is easy to keep clean. It handles large and heavy items well. It is sturdy and also very slim, so it's easy to travel with if needed. In fact, the box it came in is so slim that it would be easy to pack in that and keep it even better protected while traveling. I admit I have not used any of the extra digital tools, though I have no doubt they would be even more helpful in our case, but I am too tired and busy to take the time to try to figure them out. The basic functions are easy to work with and enough to take care of what we need.

I was nervous as the reviews on this seemed pretty mixed. I have been incredibly happy with the quality of this scale. There are lots of codes built in and you can actually program up to 99 custom food products. If you don’t feel like entering a code, you can just weigh items without entering codes. (I find myself just weighing products and logging in an app while my husband will track nutrition on the scale itself.) I am very satisfied!

Very convenient and helps you want to be compliant with your diet goals

I use this every day for every meal and it is very useful for accurate serving sizes and with the codes it’s even more useful, because often you have to take a guess at what raw foods such as chicken or vegetables are worth in calorific value, but with this scale you know the exact amount, plus the nutritional values. I have type 2 diabetes and this makes my life so much easier when trying to figure out how many carbs I’ve eaten for the day which is a very important number to know when you’re trying to keep your blood sugar low. My only complaint about this scale is that it’s slightly too sensitive so if anything as light as a paper towel happens to touch it, I often have to reset and start the weighing process again. It’s best to keep everything you don’t want weighed well away from the scale if you have room. I have a tiny kitchenette, so it’s not that easy.

This is perfect! It even has an app that will help you with figuring out the food code! So easy to use and tracks everything we’re looking for! It is small so it’s easy to store, and doesn’t take up much space. It’s fast in the calculations! It does have a timer so it turns off on its own!

After the tare weight is reset, subsequent weighing of ingredients in this tare is performed incorrectly, especially when adding them gradually. Also, the weight of ingredients can change arbitrarily when pressing the scale touch buttons.
