Q: Has anyone figured out how to get the spinners to spin with the rain coming down? Ours rotate freely when spinning by hand but not at all with water.

Hello, thanks for your question. Unfortunately, the round spinners don't spin as water comes down. They originally did, however, there's been a manufacturing issue that got in the way. We are taking down the copy stating they spin. Apologies for the confusion.

Q: Is this item good for heavy rain?

Great question. Our copper rain chains are designed and tested for heavy rain. The rain will cascade down the rain chain to the ground, as the inner rings spins.
