I am very impressed with this camera. It was reasonable priced considering everything it can do. You can use it as a motion detectable light or not. You can use it as a motion detectable camera, you can keep any lights from coming on at all so they don’t even know they are being recorded, you can speak back and forth if you choose to, being able to move it left or right almost 360 degrees helps too. You can make it sound an alarm as well. It is better than the doorbell cameras that are advertised. This camera seems to do more than those can do.

it worked great for about 2 months then the battery kept going dead, It was definatly a defective solar panel. I ran a wire into the house and plugged it into an outlet and it has been at 100 charge since then

I am currently a Soliom customer and have their Soliom S600 camera installed. I needed another camera with a bit less capabilities at the rear of my home. The S60 I purchased has met my expectations and solved my need perfectly. Thumbs up to Soliom for another excellent product!It arrived in a very timely fashion. The packaging was excellent and well thought out. I reviewed both the product manual and the Quick Guide and found the setup to go exactly as it said. I really had no questions as to installing it primarily because of having installed the other camera. So I charged the battery and then went on next install it. All seemed simple enough with two exceptions. The camera mounts on a backplate the bracket. In shipping the bracket is attached to the camera. I could not find any instruction on how to use this or remove this from the camera in order to mount it. Rather than break something I contacted Soliom. I was immediately provided a description and given a short video as to how to remove and install this bracket. Very clever design and simple! You merely slide the camera up to remove and slide the camera down to attach it. Nice design!!The other issue is minor. I will add a photo to show. In the small parts kit with mounting screws there is a small item as shown in the attached photo. I cannot figure what this is and where it should be attached or how it is used. I showed it to a number of people and no one had any idea. I will have to ask support about this. A minor issue.In use the camera tracks a full 330 degrees either in steps or continuos. Unlike the S600 it does not have capability to move up and down by selection from the app. It can be manually set to several fixed positions as needed vertically. That is all I needed for my use. Tracking horizontally is smooth and very well accomplished.The camera is very easily controlled by the app. I only had an 8GB memory card on hand and I will be buying a larger card soon. But the cloud app works very well to record activity.The two photos with a view show the camera used from my mounting in daylight and in night vision.So over-all I have another highly recommended Soliom product. I have had the camera 1 week. Setup was easy and I’m not techy at all! I bungee strapped it to a tree before I choose a permanent spot. The solar panel provides so much power it stays charged almost full! No using the cloud storage yet. I also have my husband access to view the camera. He had to download the app and sign up first before I could link him to it. We are using the provided SIM card which is AT&T or T mobile and although we only get 1 bar it’s surprisingly functional. The cost is $14.99 /mo which is high compared to other devices.The only other complaint I have is that it only swings to a range of 90-degrees (wished it did 180 for better view range) and if you zoom in it gets grainy. But it gets the job done for what we use it for, which is monitoring our pasture and animal / activities. We used the 2-way conversation and it works. The person with the phone would have to initiate. I’m going to get another camera for the other end of the pasture.

The media could not be loaded.  Edit edit.... the Sim card ran out before i got 2 days on it.... it burns up a lot of gigs just setting it upbut they added more....i still don't have any notifications working....3 stars until i get notifications working..... Edit... the SIM cards were already installed in my cameras even though the instruction booklets don't say that. There was a small sticker on the camera body that said they were and their customer support emailed me quickly about it.... it took a couple hours or so of trying to get them to connect to my phone and instructions could be much better written.... but finally I got one connected....I still haven't figured out how to get the notifications on my phone however. Yes all permissions and notification settings are allowed... if I can get them to function 100% I'll give 5 stars then..
