Great addition to my tools collection
This belt sander is the real thing. Being already invested in Ridgid tools, buying it was a no brainer. Already sanded my whole wooden patio and it did a great job.

I built a table with this sander and it works like a charm, kills the batteries quickly so it works best with the bigger batteries.It sells for $220 at stores (tool only) so it’s definitely worth the purchase on amazon!

Amazing tool, glad I bought it
Amazing, very controlable in the hand, has a speed setting for the belt. You can track the belt with ease, and tool is inside the belt sander like the cordless circular saw. Foreward palm handle is also movable on a track to set at your own comfort. This tool running at a reasonable setting does not burn through a 4AH battery.

Avoid - No lifetime warranty
Product works great, but I sent in for lifetime warranty and it is not covered as sold by this seller. TheCountryButler

Excellent choice!
Performs better with the bigger battery. But, is an excellent addition to my sanders collection. Cordless slays! Rigid brings it. Very satisfied.
