So glad I found this. I bought a used duraflame fireplace heater at a thrift store and it worked great but was missing the remote control. Without a remote you could still operate it but you had to open the front panel (which was also missing the knob!) and manually turn it on and off. This remote worked perfect out of the box, no programming needed. Just insert batteries and was good to go.
