The set comes in a heavy, sturdy, decorative box. Includes a wide variety of nibs. Beautiful pens and wax sticks with a really nice, heavy stamp. The ink is in a jar so it will eventually have to be refilled, but that is the only maintenance besides cleaning your nibs after each use. This feels very "old school" and just vintage. Beautifully packaged and would make a perfect gift for anyone interested in calligraphy. A really beautiful set!

My daughter needed a prob for a oral report and this was PERFECT!

I haven't used it yet but my main purpose is for decorating. The quill looks nice. The quill and ink holder, the holder part that the quill/pen stands in was a bit wobbly.(it may be intentional, unsure as this is my first set)Its fine for my use and is really cute.
