How do i get a md0456pw rather than a md0456p? i need the width of the "pw".

The specs listed the size a 4x4x2 inches. i assume that this is not the size of the connector. i need to know the length and width of the 6 awg #10

You should use a 6 awg lug. 8 awg wont be able to take any wire more than 4.3 mm.

How do I order a specific part number? The table list part #s with gauge, hole size and terminal width. I'd like md0438px but don't see how to order.

This lusting is for md0438p, the “PX” does not appear to be listed on amazon. From the specs it looks like the only significant difference is the width of the contact area. They both are 4awg with 3/8 hole. The PX is just a little wider.
