This is a truly excellent subwoofer. The sound quality is great, and the install was easy. I did not see that anyone was able to fit this sub behind a 2004-2007 F250 / F350 crew cab, but I did just that. It fits very tight, but the seats still can go up and down like factory. I did have to remove the seats but that took about 10 min. The bolt heads are 18mm, and you’ll need a flat wrench to get to the ones at the back. I just wanted to add a few photos of what it looks like tucked in back there.

I've been a kicker fan for 2 decades. I have it in my single cab truck and it sounds great! The bass is firm and solid not all sloppy and recklessly shaking the truck. It blends and fits with the music. Comes ready to go out of the box, they even include mounting brackets to keep them in place. I have a 93 ranger so space is limited, it fits behind the passenger seat and center arm rest; However, the armrest had to be removed since it's attached to the driver seat and the sub wouldn't allow the driver seat to push all the way back with the armrest hitting up against the box. I'm 6'5" and need all the room I can get. It says max RMS is 600 watts @ 2 ohms so I bought the kicker cx800 amp to pair with it which conveniently, pushes 600 watts @ 2 ohms and it pushes it just fine. Just make sure you set the gain right and things should be fine. Good Buy!

This went into a 89 GMC 1500 behind the bench seat and fit really well. The sound is great with 500watts RMS going to it from an Infinity 5 channel. The other 4 speakers are Hertz 4X6 coaxes crossed over at 150Hz at the pillars and 200Hz at the dash. I crossed the sub over at 90 and I'm OK with the slight midbass dip for this set up. I expect it to break in over time and sound even better. It's built well and looks better than I suspect most DIY boxes usually end up looking. I think you'd be really hard pressed to piece something together with the same foot print and performance. Don't expect to blow your windows out with this. It's a sealed box and leans more towards accuracy than output. As long as you keep your expectations in check you'll be pretty happy.

This Sub requires a gradual burn-in period. Do not go nuts during the first couple of weeks or the sub will over-heat. Rather expensive for a "non-booming" sub. Sound quality is xlnt.
