Outstanding product
I've been using the Mustang with my bass and now, I’m planning to use it with my future guitar to record some songs and post them on YouTube. The build quality and portability of this amp are truly outstanding. Imagine being able to take your electric guitar on trips, this technology makes that possible, which is something I never thought I’d experience. The Mustang offers a variety of modes and amp types, allowing you to switch effortlessly from blues to hard rock while still maintaining top-notch sound quality. But that’s not all! The Bluetooth connectivity is a game-changer. You can jam along with your favorite songs, playing right on top of the music in your headphones. It’s an amazing experience that takes your practice and performance to a whole new level. I’m absolutely in love with this Mustang amp, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile, portable, and high-quality amp.

The Perfect Practice System
Like many, I was guilty of all the gear and no idea. Expensive amps which I could only play at volume 2... tab books piled higher than the eiffel tower, guitar picks aplenty and an insatiable desire to play the Royal Albert Hall by next Christmas. There was nothing holding me back. Except the ability to play guitar. Yep, thousands spent and I couldn't play a song beginning to end if my life depended on it. The intro to sweet home alabama? You got it! The nothing else matters solo? No problem! Bit of noodling in the A minor pentatonic so long as there's no backing track to monitor timing and chord changes? I'm yer man! For piecemeal playing perfection- I was the boy to book!I came across the micro amp whilst indulging my favourite past time (googling guitar stuff rather than practising or playing) and it gave me an idea. What I was lacking was a SYSTEM. Let's be honest we see it everyday. Crossfit, hyrox, atkins, calories counting - they're all just a SYSTEM to use to get results. It hit me - I had no system to learn guitar. I'd tried lessons but no guitar teacher is a miracle worker and I lost interest fast because none of it made sense. I didn't know a dominant 7th from a doormat and to be honest I just didn't care. I wanted to play my favourite tunes and enjoy it. I get enough stress from real work let alone allowing my hobbies to add to it!It didn't take long to set the micro amp up. Great Job. Quick charge, throw in some headphones... gift. The sound quality is quite exceptional for a lil device this size and easy to play with and adjust. They've got it bang on the money. In time maybe they'll have something you can modify tones with on a phone app? But for now... she's 80 quid well spent.HALF THE SYSTEM IN THE BAG.Now where this wee amp really comes into its own is the Bluetooth connectivity. I paired my phone with it and downloaded an app called music speed changer (no endorsements or sponsorship fyi so im sure there's plenty others this is just the one I have) .With the ability to slow down, loop, pitch shift (hendrix is in E flat and I ain't detuning) the second half of the system is complete. What a godsend it's been. My usual way is to learn 2 or 3 bars at a time, then another two or 3 bars... each time looping from the very beginning so pretty quickly what I have already learnt is almost boring to play because it falls under my fingers so easily. Repetition Repetition Repetition. Pretty soon you're breezing through parts you struggled with. It's an incredible feeling.I have friends who use yamaha thr amps to do something similar but it's a lot of cables and extra bits n pieces. The entire set up I use I've included in the two pics. My trusty vintage ii reissue, the micro amp and a pair of headphones. The screenshot is from the app and the song I'm learning at the minute.A natural I am not, but this has been revolutionary for me teaching myself some of the songs that inspired me to pick up a guitar in the first place. There's not too many folk round my way playing so it's a great hobby and one that has became ever so enjoyable now I've found what works for me.Hopefully this helps and it works for you too! 🙂

Beginners device? Maybe
I bought this as a novice who hadn’t picked up an electric guitar before. It enables me to listen to the guitar how it’s intended to sound, as loud as I want it, without disturbing others around me (in my case, when the kids have gone to bed). Now for anyone who is in a similar uninformed position, the guitar still makes noise when you strum, so it’s not like it’s totally silent! It is effortlessly simple to plug in and go, charging is rapid and long lasting - certainly enough for my beginner sessions. The range of amps and effects you can easily program are more than enough for me. I’ve found my practice setup and it hasn’t changed since.Note - this connects via Bluetooth to a phone or tablet to play backing audio to your instrument. It does not connect to Bluetooth headphones - it has a 3.5mm jack for that.I found it helpful to connect this to my tablet and I can use fender play whilst playing along. Again, effortlessly simple to help aid practice. As an aside, as these connect wired headphones to Bluetooth, this can essentially make any wired headphones wireless.

Worked well, great for most people
Liked how all the amps sounded, effects were great. Don't expect this to replace a modeler or other preamps as you just don't get the deep editing. In MY case, I have a podXT and one of my presets is an absolute raging 5150 high gain which I use 90% of the time just to jam, the Mustang Micro just couldn't get me the sound I wanted in this regard but I can see other styles etc. would be quite at home with this.Enjoyed the bluetooth pairing with my phone too so I can play along, and it greatly simplified the wires everywhere problem I have with the podXT, but again just couldn't get that sound I want.
