So easy to use , great time saver!!!

So I had to attach this strait to the drill because the bit supplied for the drill was too small for the shaft on the tool.I would lightly oil the shaft.The shavings need cleaning out but no biggieIt makes the right size and depth hole for the hinges.

On the first attempted to drill a hinge hole the drill jammed badly in the bushing.I had to disassemble the unit to get the drill out of the door and the bushing.The shaft of the drillbit was scratched badly. I did clean the shaft with a file and fine sand paper and the edge of the bushing as well. Greased both parts up as I thought that was the part I missed. Wrong.Second try the same. But I have to say I was warned - made in China in big letters on Box.Not sure If I missed it when I choose this piece of junk.

The bearings are so poorly manufactured that if you attempt to use them without lubricating them in advice they will seize almost immediately

Purchased this to install those type of hinges. The idea was great and the design was spot on. HOWEVER, I had to order a good (Freud) forstner bit because the one supplied was junk, dull and barely would work on soft pine. Almost returned the gadget but i really liked the design. Would be better sold w/o a bit for less.
