We got this for our sons sports themed birthday party and WOW! We had folks from all over the neighborhood playing with this ball! It was certainly the life of the party and kids from 2 years old to adults were having a blast with this ball. Took about 10 min to blow this up with the red pump recommend. 5 stars for sure!

But yeah it is probably going to end badly. Kids will definitely enjoy and then destroy, themselves or enact minor property damage.But nobody is going to forget the day.

I haven't played soccer since I was 9, but playing with this is way better in my opinion. My wife got this originally for my 30th birthday. Let me tell you, people immediately transform into a different person when they first see this thing. My niece and nephew were trampolining on this while we were blowing it up (make sure you have an electric blower to blow it up - you will pass out if you do it on your own). My friends played volleyball with it. Even my 65 year old parents were throwing their entire bodies and falling over themselves trying to punt this 6 ft behemoth into the air. Unfortunately, like the other reviews mention, it cannot withstand dogs (or much sustained abuse). As soon as my 155 lb St. Bernard met the ball - the fun was over. We wound up getting a second one, but that didn't last either.My five star rating is based on the fact that this thing is incredibly fun for an afternoon and will make people smile, guaranteed. Instead of going to ballgame or the movies (also around $60), this will provide for an afternoon of outside fun (2 or 3 if you're lucky) that is just as or more memorable and different. It's not going to last, but that's what I expect from a giant inflatable balloon that absolutely no one (including older folks) can resist throwing all of their weight into.

Bought this to have fun with kids on random park days. Have a smaller 2.5 ft version already. This one went on sale before Christmas and had to grab it. Did a test fill in the garage to see size. Also purchased a DC powered portable inflator. A high flow inflator is a must. Still took quite a while to inflate. Can’t wait to take it to the park!

I got this for a game of mega, slip-n-slide soccer. I knew this would be big but I hadn’t quite visualized what a 6’ diameter ball would look like. I was setting up the field at a park and my friends were blowing it up. Suddenly, as I was erecting a giant goal post in the form of a full length piece of 4” drain pipe, I felt a disturbance in the force. All 300 some odd pairs of eyes were being drawn across the field to one place as if a new moon had risen and created a gravitational pull equal to that of Uranus! I too felt the pull, looked over, saw what I later realized was a pick up truck, dwarfed by the mega-sized behemoth of a soccer ball that it was being held in place by a team of minions in the back of the truck. Mega, slip-n-slide splash soccer ensued and let me tell you; I’d always wondered how the opening scene of “Raiders of the Lost Ark” might have played out differently if Indiana Jones was replaced by your average group of freshman college students. I’ve never seen a full size human pancaked to the ground as they ran in terror from a giant sphere. I saw it that day. Several hundred times! I’ll never forget the look in the eyes as a person would realize that either at the whim of the mob or by a force of nature such as an errant blast of wind, the universe has selected them as the next recipient of a good old fashioned steam-rolling.But seriously, it was great fun! Everyone had a blast and it was voted the best out of three giant field games!Unfortunately, a wind gust carried it to where a giant tent stake pierced it through. Not the fault of the creator at all, just poor planning. (But if anyone is listening, a replacement would be awesome!)

We purchased this soccer ball based on another review describing a “full size human pancaked to the ground as they ran in terror from a giant sphere” and this ball lived up to the potential and hype! It is very durable; it held up to 40 high school boys punching, kicking, and head butting it, as they had the time of their lives, and the ball hit, kicked, and head butted back with no issues! I have since used the ball several other times, and it is still rolling! I will warn, it takes 30 min plus minutes to air this ball up with a large air compressor, so make sure you have an adequate air supply and time! To deflate, simply open the air plug, and the ball deflated itself! Happy purchasing. You won’t regret it!!!

I bought this to roll in a Christmas Parade. Our Soccer Association was marching for the first time and I couldn't get it together quickly enough to put a float together. I only gave it 4 stars because it was cold out and we had a very hard time keeping it inflated. I would expect in normal weather it would inflate and stay that way. Every time we stopped, I hugged it and started re inflating. Several men found this entertaining and I'm pretty sure there are photos. I will say this: it is impressive! The kids along the parade route kept telling their parents "did you see that soccer ball?" "that soccer ball is so cool!". So if you're looking for an impact piece, this is definitely it. We rolled this bad boy on a city street for over a mile. The print started to flake away when we were blowing it up but i think it was probably a causality of the cold (30's).
