Must have in the tool box.
If you are like me and work on your own equipment then this is great to have in the toolbox. We all had that stubborn bolt or nut that needed a little extra leverage to loosen it. This allows you to use wrenches and rackets to gain that extra leverage to loosen those nuts and bolts. No more sliding a pipe onto the end of the rachet or trying to put two wrenches together to gain that extra leverage. This tool makes it so easy you will be happy it is in the toolbox.

Expensive, but high quality steel. Could be finished better.
The steel used is about the best there is, so this thing should be impossible to break. But it looks like a shop project. The chrome plating is rough and uneven. There's rust inside of it. The manufacturer's decal is an inkjet printed Avery label. I peeled off the label and bits of chrome stuck to the label. My guess is that's probably a smaller manufacturer that's putting the $$$ into the bones and not the looks. The thing weighs over a pound! There's openings for a 3/8" and 1/2" bar. My 1/2" fits perfectly. My 3/8" did not. So I tried several 3/8" socket sets and adapters. About half fit. I measured the opening with a digital caliper and it's slightly larger than 3/8" - it's 49/128'ths. 9.72mm. The 1/2" opening is within 3 decimal places of being 1/2".So 3/8" is not 3/8" when it comes to tools. I measured my breaker bar end and socket handles - surprisingly all the ones that did not fit were larger than 3/8". Huh. Go figure. So I really can't blame this tool for that, but it's something to keep in mind. I'll only use the 1/2" or a length of pipe anyway. The end tab is .987"x.385" - my 1" pipe breaker bar fits over it perfectly, with just enough room.

Useful tool but needs modification to work properly
The first thing I want to say about this breaker tool is the pricing makes no sense when you consider the quality you are getting. This is a cast steel piece that is thick and has worked well to use as a breaker bar but it just hasn't been made very well. First, there is rust inside the unit right out of the package. I took a photo to demonstrate.Next, you are going to need a 1/2 breaker bar because the 3/8 inch does not fit until you take a grinding tool to the square to open it up a little. It's fine but give me a break. Almost 50 dollars for this thing? That's too high and Keyfit Tools should be embarrassed at the quality level here. For 20 dollars I wouldn't complain but this is a premium price for a fairly cheap looking product with rust inside of it and my tool doesn't even fit in one of the two provided socket holes. To be fair, in all the product photos it only shows a 1/2 inch tool being used and I don't see it advertising that it works with 3/8 inch which is why I'm still giving this an average rating. To be fair, if you really want to get a lot of leverage on this, you are going to need a long tool. I have a 30 inch long 1/2 inch socket breaker bar and this tool really helps attach those to hex wrenches, open ended wrenches, and other various tools when needed. As far as this device being "ultra compact" and "stubby", I don't know. It's not huge but it definitely requires some working room but it is no larger than a long impact socket like you would use to remove a lug nut. We will see if it breaks. It doesn't look very strong but I was unable to damage it during testing so maybe it's stronger than I realize. I am not sure why that second hole is there if it's not for a 3/8 drive tool but I grinded it out a bit and it works now, just in case I want to use it in the future. I've been using it mostly with my long 1/2 inch drive breaker bar and it fits nicely and this is nice to have in the tool box when I need a little extra help loosening a stubborn bolt or something torqued higher than my power tools can handle.

Not the quality we are paying for
I’ve spent over 1 hr with a file and a deburring bit trying to get this tool to except a 3/8” racket ( like it’s supposed to) and still doesn’t fit.

Same issues as most reviewers here - a 3/8" ratchet will not fit!
I could see this being a great tool. It's a smart idea: you can slot in a wrench on the side, or insert a ratchet in the opening, then attach a breaker bar or another ratchet to the opposite end using the pre-cut square holes. When done correctly, you could add a breaker bar to just about anything. But unfortunately, this item is not very well made. It is hardened steel, and I don't think it's going to break any time soon, but it's very rough. The welds and edges show poorly, there's discoloration in some spots, and even a few specks of rust. But worst of all, the 3/8" slot is not cut properly and completely useless. I can't get any of my 4 ratchets to fit. I did manage to get my 1/2" to fit in it's respective slot, but since half of it's usability is non-existent, the price should be halved as well.I do not recommend this item unless it's under $20 and you have a 1/2" ratchet.
