If you take your time and really work it into the leather or pleather in small amounts (similar to waxing a car) it can really bring out a matte sheen in black leather and pleather.I used it on the vinyl interior pieces in my 30 year old car and it remarkably brought them back to life giving the surface depth and a softer feel.

Smells great, just applied to a brand new stiff leather jacket. Got plenty of compliments on how well the jacket looked.I applied heavy (as directions stated) but then just buffed it smooth right there. Didn't wait, or reapply in hours, just spent a few min on each section making sure it was well coated then cleaned up before moving on.Made the new jacket very very new looking. Jacket is black now it has a deeper more refined look to it. Also softened it up PERFECTLY! Exactly why I bought this to begin with.Smells like new leather/shoes, etc...

I ordered this recently looking for a semi-liquid leather softener for a pair of shoes I ordered from Duluth Trading. The leather was so stiff I could hardly get my foot into the shoe. This leather lotion did a great job softening the leather without ruining the shape of the shoe. Goes on easily and buffs to a nice finish. Also has a pleasant smell.

It does seem to soften your boots,but thats where it stops.It left absolutely NO shine.Had to go old school and got a couple of cans of Kiwi shoe polish that worked fine.Boots are shiny as new.

Used this on some new leather sandals that were very rough and killed my feet the first time I wore them. I applied this a few times and then left it on overnight (per a shoemakers instructions) and it really softened them up, and no more foot pain!

It work beautifully as it said it would on leather, you get no complaints from me. I highly recommend this product, it reallyworks. I will recommend to friends and Family this product and it's Seller as they out did themselves in Service.

I feel like it helped protect my leather jacket and make it slightly shiner. I really liked that it didn't smell too strong or like chemicals. It's almost like just putting body lotion on, except after a while, the shine on my leather jacket is still there.
