lousy contents considering the expensive price. Should improve contents and decrease the price

HIMSS hasn't made any significant changes to the latest edition. A lot has happened in the last few years in healthcare IT and none of that reflects in this book. Their previous edition is from 2012. Little disappointing. I'd say go for a used second edition if you're a student and trying to save some money. Believe it or not, second edition is as good as this one and you'll get bang for your buck!

It is very useful...

This book is not worth the money. It is basically a copy of the 2nd edition in a different font and very few changes. Also, it does not adequately prep you for the exam since it is mostly theory and no situational prep needed for the exam.
