Q: What size stick would a 17-18 year old female need? (height: 5'3")

The size of this stick would work well for 5'3" tall. You could even get 1-2" longer. My son who is 5"2" uses this and it works fine for basic street hockey.

My guess is the junior. Some of the other questions address where the stick should hit you. Compare with those answers, too.

In addition to the length of the stick (in inches) that you can select, you should also be able to select the hand (shoot) orientation.

Q: What does the 1010 mean? I’m sure it’s a style of some sort but I can’t seem to find any infomation on it.

That is the Model Number for Franklin Sports. They come in Rt and Left Hand versions, this is for youth.
