I use this method explicitly. I've tryed other methods but my students seem to respond better to this method. I never argue with success.

I learned violin using this method and am now using it to teach. It’s easy to follow and transitions to bowing quickly. Also a great supplement to use with other methods or a good music theory book.

You get what you pay for.

Excellent starter book for budding violinists. Was the only book my instructor will use to start students, he still plays professionally and was on Hee Haw with Roy Clark for years (if you are too young to remember Hee Haw....I don't even wanna know! :0). Very easy to understand, songs are very simple and relatively easy to start on.....we are talking about playing violin here, so.... Do recommend this book.

Am finding this series very helpful in learning the violin.

Good book for me as I am starting to learn how to play. Nice and simple, but not too simple so that you make quite a bit of progress.
