Good stuff from the Digi's
Been a long time fan, but I only owned a couple albums. Picked up Greenlight EP, Sons of the P, and Future Rhythm. All three are good but I would probably rank them in that order in terms of my preference. Sex Packets is still my favorite DU album.

The funk lives!
This CD and all of the D.U. discs are highly recommended. These guys are straight up George. Clinton. deciples of the highest. degree. Check the funk. and you'll know. what. I mean.

Another Fun Ride.
While its sad to hear that this really is the last release for Digital Underground I can at least be thrilled with how they close the books. The Greenlight EP is a collection of previously unreleased tracks. It starts off fun, and ends off with a major tease on the live version of "Same Song" which features a very young Tupac Shakur. All in all this is a fan's album - if you love the d.u. crew - you must have this. The "Used 2B A Sperm" track is classic Shock G taking something random (in this case little sperms) and using it to shine light on topics such as racism, religious fanaticism, and even STDs. I think we all wish this album was longer, but its a good send-off. I noted a clever twist with the artwork: the front cover shows the crew riding in a phat Humpty-nosed limo. On the back, we sadly see the crew riding off into the sunset... on their way to some twisted d.u. city, where we all know the party doesn't stop. Respect.
