Bought this raincoat for an Alaskan sea cruise. I liked it very much for protecting from the rain. If I can add one more thing for people going in cold weather environment, is that you should get one size bigger than your size. Because if you dress up with lots of layer then your raincoat will not close/ or zipper up. I am size large and bought an XL, and I was able to layer lots of garments without having any problem zipping up. Also makes a great wind breaker too.

You will sweat through this, but it does a great job keeping your dry. I think the velcro with the zipper helps as well. You can fold this small enough to fit in a small daypack. It is worth the cost.

Living in an occasionally extremely rainy biome, people take their rain gear seriously. My old, very expensive DWR-treated jacket stopped working, so I purchased this jacket, based upon its excellent reviews and low price. It's good enough - not great, but it's viable for regular wear. I would not recommend it for use with a pack; the straps will shred the DWR coating in no time. Nor would I suggest it for strenuous activity, because it isn't all that breathable. But for throwing on to step outside into a rainstorm, it's fine. The coating keeps the rain out almost as well as a rubber rain slicker, but the jacket is much, much lighter and more compact, and thus easy to stuff into a pocket or the included bag to use as needed.

Just received this rain jacket and on the surface it looks great. Fits perfect , looks great and it cost less than many others. There is no liner, but it's a breathable membrane. The only thing i would recommend is the the inside pocket have little velcro tab to keep them closed.

Jacket is a lightweight shell which is exactly what I was looking for. Have not yet worn it in the rain but the material looks as if it will be fairly waterproof with little if any seepage. The material is of the type that may deteriorate after several years but should be quite serviceable until then. Should also be good as a windbreaker.

Don't get a knock-off because this brand is awesome! Totally with the $35. Got this for my husband and now that I've tried it on will be getting one for me as well. Watch the video by this seller and it will tell you everything you need to know. It IS breathable and waterPROOF, not just resistant. Your body and skin can breathe and it's extremely packable. We are is a hot, humid state and he works outdoors so I purposely got him one size up (didn't want it to be right -ish, needed some room for the air to move between this and his cotton work shirt) and it's perfection!! But if you want it to fit perfectly just get you usual US size. You will not be disappointed.

Rain resistant, not rain proof at all. Works great in light sprinkles but in real rain got soaked through in minutes.
