I bought this for my granddaughter and her boyfriend for Christmas so I have not used it but I'm sure it works fine as I have had a thawing tray for years (not this one) and I love it. The only thing I don't like about this thawing tray is it is too small for thawing out meat for 2 people. I am sure it would be great for one person. I think thawing trays are great and as I said the one I have works great.

Been wanting to get one of these thawing/defrost boards for awhile cause my mom and grandma have some and theirs work great... But this one is not at all like theirs and I thought it'd be even better cause as price was more spendy.. But it is not. The finish seems to feel and look like rough unsanded flat paint😖 It's not at all like my relatives boards whereas theirs is smooth, gloss type of finish and this one is not. Perhaps it's an irregular defect, I don't know but I am already disappointed and my dissatisfaction has caused me to move onward and try to find a defrost board in a local store that I can physically inspect before purchasing in order to make sure it's finish is like that of relatives.Ordering and shipping was good and fast with Prime Shipping👍🏽 Packaging: it arrived in the manufacturer's colored product box with a shipping label slapped on it.Conclusion: In my opinion, product quality is subpar (maybe a rare defect but unsure) and I know there's other products on this site but I don't feel like ordering several different ones in order to trial and error test to find the right one.

This really works, cuts defrost time and it is very easy to clean, the meat stays moist and does not drain all the juices as when defrosting in a microwave, saves time and it's worry free from dripping because of the wells on the sides of the tray. Comes with very easy to clean and store cutting mats for vegetables, meats, fish. Love it all

This is a great little thawing tray and the chopping mats are handy as well. I like that the tray has reservoir space for the defrosting process.

It works great when you don't have to have a container to hold whatever you need to defrost.

I see no appreciable difference in defrosting times, for anything of any size it is too small and the little plastic cutting boards are scored and marked up by any reasonably sharp knife when used. Can't recommend.
