This works and does not change the color or shine of old brick.
Water is routed away from the brick of our building. But it’s from 1936 and it does rain a lot here. We are purchasing the building after leasing it for 8 years. I know exactly where water splashes onto the brick when it rains and I can see where it has eroded the brick and the mortar over time. On the inside of the basement, the masonry walls effervesce on the other side from where the rain soaks in. First, we had the gutters and flashing fixed. Then we drilled a drain through the retaining wall. Now that we have done everything we can to keep the water from getting to the brick in the first place, I decided to seal the brick from anything that splashes when it rains. Since I didn’t plan on sealing all of the brick, it was important to me that the sealer didn’t change the look, color or shine. This masonry and concrete sealer does the trick perfectly. In the instructions, it says to apply it using a roller or airless spray gun. I didn’t do that. I used a hand pump garden sprayer to saturate where I needed it. This small amount of sealer does not cover a building, or even a whole porch, but it covered our most critical areas. It is solvent based and smells like turpentine - wear a respirator if spraying it. Water beads up on it and when it is dry, it doesn’t look like it was treated with anything at all. It’s just what I was looking for and worked great. That said, unless you have a very small area to waterproof, you’ll need more of this and it is fairly pricey for this size. I’d look for a bigger bottle.

Stopped water seeping into my garage
Stopped water seeping into my garage, I had a spot at the bottom of my garage wall where water would seep through, I applied to the outside of the wall where the water would pool in the rain, After the last few storms so far it has kept the water from seeping through, Seems like a durable and effective product for what I needed it for

Looks good
At last, a couple of dry days so I can use Fila Surface Care Solutions HYDROREP. One liter does not cover much, but it was enough for the small job I had on a concrete foot bridge. Seems to work well enough. It went on easily using a pump sprayer. It did not change the color or (lack of) sheen. Time will tell how it performs, fall and winter rains are coming. It is listed at a price about 50% higher per ounce than for what I could buy one gallon of a similar product at my local big box store. If Fila was available in gallons, I could do a better comparison.

Does the job
I got this product to seal the outside of my basement, ensuring better waterproofing after professionally installed waterproofing system. I covered the concrete blocks with it to better repel the water, and it seems to be doing a good job. Water don't get absorbed (it does not change the color of the blocks as it used to), and droplets just roll off the stone. Very easy to apply: I just used a roller. The look or color of the cement blocks did not change - or at least I did not notice. When you first apply the product, it makes the color darker (obviously), but then dries to the original color or very close to it. Not sure if it would work the same way on the brick, for example. One liter wasn't enough for what I needed; I had to get four jars for our needs. However, glad I got it done - it offers awesome protection against water and (subsequent) mold, so to me, it's a great value for money.

Works well so far on my fountain, creek pond!!
We’re using this on my fountain, creek pond my son build out of rock in my yard. We’ve had a couple of places that “leak” so we tried this to seal it. It’s easy to use. It dries fairly quickly and dries clear. I’ll post an update when it’s had time to work. I’m gonna get more bc a quart and my space is pretty large.

Doesn't cover a very large area of concrete per Liter. Otherwise, seems decent.
Coverage is a little small at 54-107sq ft for concrete for this 1 L bottle. Otherwise, it seems comparable to other similar commercially available products I have bought. Cannot really assess longevity, but as I put it on in mid-Fall, I will have the winter wear/tear to assess it. Overall, a decent product, at a fair price but you will need a bunch of it.

Easy to use sealant
I used this on some painted cement on my driveway that were already sealed, but needed to have some grit added to them. I used some sealant remover for the original, buffed and added the grit and used the Hydroprep to reseal. There's slightly more shine than before, but that's going to just be a case of using a different product. It's still water resistant but has the grit I was looking for. The liquid goes a long way and does exactly what's advertised. Smaller container t han I thought, which makes storage very convenient. Very easy to apply.

Es un buen producto si lo que buscas es un protector que no deje brillo, quizás está ventaja también sea su desventaja con otros productos similares que dejan un terminado brillante. Es caro también comparado con otros productos. A ver si protección a largo plazo.
