By Mr C. Seems to be a well made unit. Bought it for all the household tasks, including vehicles and appliances. Also great to take snapshots of part numbers on tucked away known suspect components. Unless I need to remove to test it, this saves me dismantling before the new part arrives. Good screen, bright led's, side camera is nice. Easy to operate. Used occasionally but a great tool to have around when you need it.

Amazing bore scope. I used this to fish landscape wiring under stoops. There are lots of obstructions, and this allowed me to see around the obstacles. The light is bright enough to see in absolute darkness. The picture is sharp and detailed enough to be very clear at what you’re looking at. There is a mark on the camera lens so you know what side is up. The wire that the camera sits on is very rigid, as you can definitely mold it to be straight or to go around objects that may be obstructed. Very happy with the purchase. My next usage will be when I run network cabeling through my attic into areas where I don’t have physical access to,

I bought it to inspect vintage brass instruments and help with their valve alignments. 7mm cross-section is great for getting into tight tubing. . For those purposes the long camera cable is definitely overkill and it's kind of hard to manage the cable and the unit itself when working close. I suppose if you were starting a home or mobile amateur endoscopy business the long cable would be a great feature. Its also been helpful with HVAC duct issue and finding small items on the floor Picture is nice and bright. You can save images and vid to a memory card. Nice. Switching between the forward camera and side-facing camera is spotty at best. 9 out of 10 attempts failed for me. I think i got it to work all of once now. That's lame. there should be a dedicated button for that not pressing a button down for various unpredictable intervals to maybe get the function i want. Lame. The buttons and hierarchy of operations is weird. If you accidentally stumble into image review mode, you're in a dead end from which at least I could not escape without restarting. Lame. For money and image quality a good deal. Kind of squirrely system design.

This tool is an AMAZING value. I purchased this after installing two of them in an industrial environment, operating 24/7, with exposure to radiation. They are being powered externally and are left on 100% of the time. They've been installed for two years now with zero issues. I just used my personal one today to probe a sink drain that had a blockage I couldn't seem to clear with the usual tools. I was able to clearly see around a 90 degree tee using the side camera and eventually got it cleared out. Great job DEPSTECH on this excellent product!

Worked great to get lost bolts out of a car frame! My son lost some bolts in his car frame while installing a hitch. He spent about two hours unsuccessfully trying to retrieve the bolts with wire made into a hook. I was already looking at buying this endoscope but didn’t have a use for it until now. Overnight shipping was fantastic. It took my son about two minutes to locate and extract the bolts with the endoscope using the magnetic attachment that came with it. Clear picture and easy to use!

Nice, inexpensive borescope arrived in a timely manner. At first, I tried to use it without reading the manual and could not get the side camera to work. I then read the manual and figured out how to get the side camera to work. I took still pictures and a video of the engagement of the starter on the ring gear on a Massey Ferguson 265 diesel tractor. It showed me that I needed spacers to get the correct engagement for the starters that I had purchased that claimed they fit the tractor. Not sure where the starter that was in the tractor came from as it did not require a spacer. Apparently, the original starter did require one. I would have damaged the starter had I tried to use it without the spacer. However, it is not easy to position and hold the camera still while taking videos. An extra set of hands would help. The diameter of the borescope allows it to fit into holes as small as a standard spark plug. There is a short rigid section at the tip of the borescope that limits its flexibility. They make a smaller diameter borescope that is more flexible, but it lacks a side camera-which created the short rigid section in the borescope that I bought. The scope is fairly long so it can be used in a variety of chores.

This thing is great especially for the price I bought it to look in some drain lines for a clog but before I even got to do that I was working on a pressure washer and I used it to look inside the tank to clean out all the debris in the gas tank this thing works great the picture quality is pretty good and the lights are bright

From the perspective of quality of the camera and screen this is pretty decent product (though the cable is a little unwieldly to handle). At issue is the product description indicated the camera can rotate. Likely a translation issue? There is a second camera on the probe BUT it's in a fixed position. So if you're trying to view something in say a wall or a duct and the side camera is in the wrong direction. Unless you rotate the entire head and came of the unit you cannot get a full view. Had this been clear I would not even have bought it. It's otherwise a nice product but not much use for what I purchased it to do. So item is being returned. If this does not matter to your needs it could be an excellent product

Overall worked really well. The side camera is quite handy and I’m glad I purchased it. It’s only used on the odd occasion. A few issues. - if you don’t have the screen on the right angle it’s difficult to see the screen. It’s not like your phone screen for example where you can place is anywhere and still see the screen fine. - The cable is permanently fixed into the screen, it makes it awkward for storing etc. a little thing but would go a long way. - The buttons are not intuitive, it’s tricky to know how to move from one camera to another. Overall worked for what I needed and I think good value for money. You’ll praise yourself when you need it and it’s sat in the workbench.

This is a superb piece of kit to have in your workshop to view those places you cannot get to. I tried this out to have a look at the state of my gutters and it worked very well. I stuck the tubing to a long stick with masking tape and held it out of windows. I was able to see what was in the gutters easily and the battery lasted well. The focus is brilliant as not only can you see close items but also those quite a way distant. I assumed it would only focus at a short distance but was surprised. I used this today to have a look inside a very small area of ceiling that needed re-plastering as the plaster had cracked while working on an inspection panel just below. After removing the cracked pieces of ceiling I was able to look inside the ceiling to see how best to repair it and it was great to be able to see everything so clearly. I have only used the basic function so far as that has shown all I needed but I know it has other functions which I may get around to using. It is great that it comes with a 32 Gb Micro SD card to record video and pictures. You need to have a USB charging plug to charge it. They are cheap to buy if you have not got one to use. The product is easy to use and the cable length is adequate for most jobs. It can connect to your computer to view the videos and photos or you can remove the Micro SD card. I ordered a small cloth bag to keep the product in and it fitted in there well, with a zipped pocket to store the charging lead, instructions etc. This is one of the best products I have ever purchased - very usable and solves DIY problems by being able to see things you could not previously view.
