I like my poached eggs a little runny on the inside not the whites. This poacher cooks the yolks before it cooks the whites. By the time the whites firm up the yolk is overcooked. Nothing worse than runny snotty whites. Plus it’s wayyyy overpriced.

Was hesitant to order because of the non stick coating but decided to try. Initially loved it - cooked really well but after several weeks of use started seeing small black specks in the undersides of the eggs. The spots got bigger so quit using them. These cups were sprayed with coconut oil, spread around in the cup with my fingers. When eggs done (used instant pot) a soft silicone spatula was run along the edges of the eggs. No metal - nothing abrasive. Must be a reaction with the non stick and the oil and eggs, or maybe the heat too intense. Am not able to see any flaking in the cups. The black specks definitely not in the eggs to start with. Very disappointed.

I’ve tried so many methods to poach eggs, but always ended up with unsightly egg messes.This set makes it SO much easier and the eggs turn out perfect every time.Just line each cup with a touch of oil or butter to prevent sticking.In addition to placing tray with the metal cups in hot water, I also top up each cup with the same water, making it cook faster.And use a small spatula to loosen the sides when removing the poached egg.

Easiest poacher to use. It's super cute and small - it fits in any pot or pan, but you'll need a lid. I give 4 stars because I lost one of the screws that hold the little knob on the poacher cups when I put them in the dishwasher. So make sure you tighten those before you wash them. Also, you will still need oil because it sticks, I was hoping I wouldn't need it. Otherwise, great product

I lined two cups with olive oil to with butter and the butter was the best. Released very easy clean up was very simple. I want to try the egg timer in the boiling water to see how close it is to the poaching eggs view a further review to come. And the stand is very sturdy the cup handles are excellent to remove the cups and they are screwed together for easy cleaning when needed to take apart

Much better than our older one....this one holds extra-large eggs! I did spritz it with Pam, and they slid right out, no problem. The unit fit into my older poaching saucepan and glass lid, so making the eggs was fool-proof. Don't hesitate, this works beautifully!
